Moyes

pre Christmas last season we were bottom all the way. By the above allardyce should have been sacked. In fact until April, we were always,in the bottom three

Sam got leeway, moyes gets none

BSA's hands were tied by the transfer window when he took over in the October and to be fair the squad he inherited,Fletcher,Gomez....etc....that squad was much worse than what Moyes inherited with BSA getting shot of a load of the dead wood,BSA's additions, the 3K's are what saved us whereas Moyes additions up to now look dubious to say the least.

but he wouldve been crucified had he brought no-one in

BSA inherited a worse squad and had no chance to improve it until after December so how is that comparable?
moyes has had five guaranteed starters out injured. We also had kones back story.

so therefore we have had no option to play gooch, love, watmore, McNair and pickford, asoro, when reality shows they are not ready.

why is that overlooked? Moyes has yet to have the luxury of a first choice squad.

no let's sack him. Will all injuries suddenly be cured.

our record signing has had one full appearance, no time, for him to get going?

the defence, which Sam chopped and changed constantly, until the last few weeks.

the defence now has never played more than one game together

a basic knowledge of the game is defences improve with a run of games together

no we can't have that, sack moyes

He played decent football, I've never criticised BSA for a long ball approach because I haven't seen it in his time here.
A lot of people on here criticised him for aimless balls up to Defoe - some would have had him out in January - I put an example thread on here from January where people criticised him thus. We didn't play good football under Sam but it was, eventually, effective. Maybe you didn't level that criticism but many did - of course now he is the untouchable Messiah.

do you remember the Chelsea game? Who was subbed off at ht in that game uninjured?

as I said, the boys who came in have never played and would not have played without the senior lads being injured.

So why's he bought them,we're not in a position to have 'ones for the future' sitting in the stands or any of that bollocks, the squad was/is paper thin and Moyes knew that when he took over,ok we haven't seen much of Moyes signings but they don't inspire much confidence.

who was subbed uninjured ht of the Chelsea game?

baring in mind your three ks saved safc

It's clear I've upset Moysey's boys so I shall leave you lot to it. I have my opinions but god forbid I voice them on here :lol:
rubbish. No upset just reality, so bail out.

I sincerely hope mate that i can come on here in the near future and be called 'full of shite....doubting thomas.....negative wanker'....whatever..because Moyes has turned it round and the team have climbed to a respectful 12th,i'll take it on the chin and hold my hands up.....but that won't happen.

simple question. Who was subbed ht at the Chelsea game?

outstanding logic, truly

???

we stayed up by winning the last two home games.

kone was all over the place v Chelsea, oshea came on we won.

even up to the last three games Sam was not convinced with the defence

yet moyes should be sacked after five games.

So you're impressed with what you've seen from Love,McNair and Papy....early days agreed but it doesn't look good.
I am not saying anything other than Sam was given time, he even made changes during the Chelsea game, had a settled and mainly uninjured squad.

yet moyes has had five games only.

that is my point. Do people not remember, the vast majority of games prior to the Chelsea hone game?

we were either bottom or second bottom for five months. Were there constant threads wanting Sam sacked?

but now, 5 games gone, let's get rid of moyes, hope short sells up and we are relegated.

it's pathetic
