Moyes

I've never known someone who has managed our club be so negative from the off. My patience is wearing really thin with this guy. Different situations but you see someone like Klopps enthusiasm for the game and then see our mopey nacker complaining every opportunity and its soul destroying. No wonder the players who looked tremendous last season under Big Sam now look pretty average. Im not buying the whole he didn't have a full transfer window stuff either, his signings have mostly been awful.
You'd think he arrived yesterday and had no control for half the summer and nearly all of pre season reading some posters comments.

He's spent close to 30 mil and hasn't brought in any attacking players bar Anichebe.

30m isn't a lot in PL terms and when there are restrictions on the types of players you can get or wages you can pay it becomes extremely difficult.

He said he wanted a striker in and then complained about not getting one that he expected to get. it couldn't be much clearer than that. 5 different managers now all complaining about lack of support and interference in recruitment. It's not hard to see where the problems lie.

I agree that Short is the ultimate problem. However, I don't think Moyes is the man to take us forward, looking at everything from his comments, tactics, substitutions, everything. I sincerely hope I'm wrong because I was excited when he was appointed.

Well its been on here that a striker we agreed a fee with and according to his agent everything was done for the transfer but he was refused permission to come here by the fa because of rules concerning the amount of times he played for his national team

Sorry you took it as petty, it was actually a genuine observation

but you can see the that your negativity brings us all down?

People are just telling the truth,i'm exactly the same i've no faith in Moyes whatsoever,i don't care that we're only 5 games in cos soon it'll be 15 games and so on and nothing is going to change, the players have gone from having an upbeat motivator managing them and the squad looking like it had a bit of character and team spirit to this sour faced bluffer nominating us for a relegation battle before a ball was kicked.

Why is a `box to box` midfielder considered to be a defensive midfielder?
He's been considered a defensively focused midfielder, if I could be asked I'd dig up the quotes.

If that's the case then I take it back. Wasn't aware of this.

Dig up all the quotes you like moyes has described him as a box to box midfielder
Also i think his interview on safc he describes himself as the same

I don't get this mentality. Sticking with a manager that isn't working is suicide to our position in the league. You stick with someone who works ie BSA (shame he fucked off). If we'd stuck with half the managers we've had previously in the last 5 years we'd not be in the Prem.
pre Christmas last season we were bottom all the way. By the above allardyce should have been sacked. In fact until April, we were always,in the bottom three

Sam got leeway, moyes gets none

I said if I could be arsed. Other journalists have described him as different.

Sam had a good January window, I can't say I'm impressed with the summer window. Whether that's Moyes' fault or not.

Who was that then?

If it appears it's not working, you have to get rid.
last season we stayed out of the bottom three only till April. Sam tried every player and formation, was given time and succeeded.

moyes five games, none with the best team but needs sacking?

Think trouble is he just about saying he not been promised the funds that short told him it can't be the manager every time its go to be higher up

Maybe it's the way Moyes comes across, he's so defeatist.

Also, we saw players improve under BSA, PVA for example. Under Moyes he's gone backwards.

Sam started in October, we were rock bottom in December, did people want him sacked?

moyes five games, finished, sack the bastard

I didn't see any improvement in the first five months of Sam as we were either bottom or second bottom. No hysterical 100 threads wanting Sam out

BSA inherited a worse squad and had no chance to improve it until after December so how is that comparable?
