What gets me is that none of the decent managers we've had - O'Neil, BSA and now Moyes have bought any backroom team with them - assistant managers or coaches etc

Saving money, plus all done for the short term..(Pardon the pun)

Ffs we are not asking for much, most of us would be happy with some semblance of a team, players who can pass the ball to a teammate or hoof the ball clear when required, you know players who can do the stuff we pay them to do without panicking.

Never liked him even at Everton ,always been a miserable moaning bugger . None of his purchases have set the world on fire so far ,and appears to be a very, It's my way or the highway type of manager .
However we can't keep changing managers and to be fair to him I think he handled the Kone affair well ,also liked his standing by Pickford after his Southampton error.
If we could get a few points from the next 3 games ,things would look a lot brighter.

I just look at teams this season like Palace, Watford, and even West Brom this weekend, and they look like they are actually half capable. Why do we always look so inept until the last 8 games

Early days i know but i've no faith in Moyes whatsoever,McNair and Love won't be Premier League standard players ever and the amount he spent on Papy considering what Chelsea paid is proper pants down stuff, too early to comment on N'Dong but it's strange no one else was after him, this will only end one way.

Can't keep changing managers at the drop of a hat. Whatever happens need to stick with him, imo. Or its just going to be rinse and repeat all the time.

This^^^ Weather we like it or not he has to stay we need stability. Aye performance wise so far isn't good enough same goes for results but its early doors and I think we will fare a lot better when we start playing the teams that will finish in and around us. Some of them players need to take a f***ing good look at themselves for the utter shite that we have had to witness from them. Again its gonna be another long hard slog this season but I'm prepared for it ....Moyes it is lads and lasses

I'm not sure how much influence he has had over bringing much of these players in,

Love and McNair are obviously his doing.

Papy and N'Dong seem a bit forced on him or desperate.

I think he's a good manager but our transfer business has been woeful and has left us desperate. Imagine Defoe got injured ffs.

10 years ago, we'd have wanked ourselves silly with either of O'Neill or Moyes. We've sacked one of them and the other has started badly.
