Moyes

I clearly understand your agenda.

you however totally ignore my point about time.

why was Sam given five months but moyes only five games?

can you not understand the simplicity of that?
Sam was given until the January window, his first opportunity to recruit.
Davey came in during a window and with the greatest of respect, he's had a mare. Then some. The clock started ticking with Man City.

Call it unfair, call it undue, that's how the owner will see it and that's pretty much how many fans see it.

Why would you stick with someone no matter what? I want us to be successful but it's not worth cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The reality is we've been very poor thus far. Aye, there's been bits and pieces but little semblance of an action plan. Injuries and failed deals certainly we'll play a part but I'm struggling to see a plan on the pitch.

We really need to see some improved showings and the next two games are perfect for it. Onwards hopefully, rather than a downward spiral.

We're willing to put ourselves out there and canvass an opinion. It's not going well so far, that's facts and we've little to cheer.
as am I. I just don't see the point of sacking a manager, five games in, when he has yet to field a first choice team

I have shown how we gave big Sam at least 26 games to get safc going, why not moyes?

that is my whole argument on this thread. A pretty reasonable one Imo.

I know, that stubber but has moyes had the luxury of playing a first choice team yet? Sam was given time, we suffered a lot of abysmal stuff up to April. However it appears moyes will not get that leeway.

that's all I am asking

No you're not, you said we should stick with him long term, even if it isn't working long term  can't even keep your opinion straight, go to bed mate.

26 games actually
yet again missing the point.

who would you like to replace moyes?

But what about after those 26 games? If it isn't working we should stick with him anyway? That's what you previously posted.

I don't want anyone to replace Moyes as there's no one out there. Doesn't mean I think he'll succeed though.

yes we should. Time and again over the last five years, we go through this period. Only oneill got the team going quickly, Sam and poyet took a few months, not five games.

we sack moyes then now, after another 26 games, then what? Another manager arrives, we overhaul the squad lose five games it starts again

now I have answered your point.

answer this, who would you like instead of moyes?

What a fantastic business strategy. Someone isn't doing their job right and hasn't for some time but we'll stick with them anyway in the blind hope they get it right. I'd love to work for you

I can hardly answer who I'd want to replace him if/when he's sacked. Who knows who'll be available if/when it happens.

why, you make assumptions all through the thread.

again you are missing the point. Amazing how clearly you fail to grasp, what I have clearly posted.

name a manager, it's quite simple

Doesn't know what he's doing or just needs time?

Personally think we've got him too late and he's washed up. Bit like getting O'Neill too late.

Strange signings (buying for the future when we need players for now etc.), negative press conferences to cover his back, poor substitutions, no plan B. Just smacks of desperation already.

Think this will be the season boys and girls. Unless we follow our tradition of sacking the manager every year. We'll eventually run out of people to bring in though

Reckon he's Goona be like this fella

we need to break this cycle of rinsing managers, it's not working. I know it's hard for the 'entitled' generation to bear, but some things just have to be grafted for. Things look as though they're going to get worse before they get better, but I'd rather stick with Moyes through thin and thinner if that's what it takes.

I'm fed up with starting again from scratch like Groundhog Day every season. Our club has no identity left as a result, all we stand for now is failure and half done jobs.

I was gutted that BSA walked away, he seemed to be putting some of that identity back for once. Yes, Moyes isn't as charismatic, but he has a track record as good as anyone out there.

It's such a shame that we are getting the reputation for eating ourselves from the inside out. It's such a waste of energy...

That 'some time' being 5 games, yes?

The discussion was pointed at if he's failing after a lot longer in the job, keep up.

He's not saying sack him but Moyes is doing an absolutely shite job so far, why not say it like it is? People far too soft on here.

I'm have not disagreed. My point is pretty simple. Sam got at least 26 games until he got the team motoring.

we had to sit through some atrocious stuff. Did we have constant threads wanting Sam sacked?

that is it, straightforward, we have yet to have a first choice team out. We have played three away games in which moyes statistically has improved on sams record

we lost to mboro identical to early loss to Norwich last season.

we got well beat by everton, statistically worse than Sam.

all facts, no assumption, no hysterical raving. Not soft on moyes at all.

Honestly this place. Get rid of Moyes after 5 games and play Cattermole, O'Shea and Larson if they are fit. Should have kept Lens !! And we wonder why we don't progress. Given Short and his cohorts previous form and the limited time we were given after the FA/BSA situation I'm not sure what more Moyes could have done.

There are no threads saying sack Moyes

He is doing a shite job though, he might turn it round, he might not

But this ridiculous attitude of some people on here to slag off posters who dare question or criticise a manager is f***ing ridiculous.

Also the bits in bold, what the fuck are you talking about?

We got hammered by Norwich under Dick who left 6 games later.

We beat Everton 3-0 at home last seoson and then lost 3-0 at home this season. Facts?:lol::lol:

What?

What gets me is the attitude of slagging it all off but with the caviat of 'but I don't mean sack him', well what do you mean then?

David Moyes has so far done a shite job at Sunderland AFC. That's true. How anyone can deny that is beyond me.
