I used to find some of BSA's decisions and in particular his substitutions baffling last season, but now in hindsight looking back at the poor squad he had the AJ saga and so on i'd say he did wonders but through all that i felt that there was bit momentum building and a bit of a feel good factor round the club, the players looked a bit more relaxed and looked happy around each other, that looks light years away now and the inevitable struggle is upon us.
all of this happened post Christmas and even then up to the Norwich away, we could not get out of the bottom three.

it was abysmal between October and January, improved gradually WITH TIME AND INJURY FREE, until it was eurphoric for the last week

We played well but the results weren't there. Everyone could see it. Players were improving and the whole club/fans united.

sorry mate the time has come for safc to stay with a manager no matter what. You may not want him out but haway a glance of the board, plenty do and very vocally.

we sack him, then what? Bracewell doing a sbragia?

we need to establish a style of play, over a period longer than five games, five months or whatever.

let's give the bloke a chance to get a first choice team out first and for a couple of months.

He'll get his time, what any of us arseholes think won't make any difference, this is the bloke who Ellis Short has wanted for a long time so he's going nowhere.
again missing the point

here it is for you

Sam had five months to organise things and even during the chelsea game, changed the defence, kone hooked uninjured as all over, oshea on, game won

note five months, moyes has had five games. A fair comparison to get rid of a manager?

no hatred of Sam, no favouring of moyes.

how is that hard to understand?

BSA is a better manager than Moyes, that's why he cemented West Ham in the Prem from the championship, kept us up and improved the squad (which Moyes has made worse) and is now the England manager. Moyes has failed at United after spending cash (poorly) and then failed in Spain. Do you understand?

No mert
I clearly understand your agenda.

you however totally ignore my point about time.

why was Sam given five months but moyes only five games?

can you not understand the simplicity of that?

No treating staff members like scum

He just got fired from Sky Italia for having racists tattoos and you still defending him

You really are a joke like, luckily you are in a minority, don't need "fans" like you

This a long way off but if he looks like he is taking us down, we sack him, simple

Its why we have stayed up for 10 years, the club is more important than egos, Don't care who the manager is.

:lol::lol:

Well BSA had 10 weeks with his hands tied due to the transfer window then was given a bit time for his buys to make an impact,so there's 3 months, they did make an impact and we stayed up,hurray!!

He's not listening fella, his mind is made up and after 5 games he knows all he needs to know about how this will end.

The only difference between Sam and Moyes' early days here are that Sam was so much more amusing during his press conferences. His early football was shit, the games were littered with mistakes, baffling substitutions and negative tactics, and whilst there were moaners, he got more time from the knowing fans.

that's all I have said all along. It's got to name calling now. of course I can't stand safc like this but the short memories, need questioning.

let's hope Saturday, we get a decent result. The returning players get the team going and the crowd get a bit of action.

sacking the manager again, will be a waste of time. Have we not learned anything from the last five years?

let's give moyes, the same, my point all along

The thing what's different is the feel good factor which was building round the club, that's gone now,i hope you come on here before Xmas marra and call me a fkn gobshite and i'll apologise for my negative opinions,i just don't like what i'm feeling/seeing.

yet again. The refuge of the weak willed.

keep going

not my style, you have all the right in the world to post as you do.

I just try and post what actually did happen last season.

some people then resort to laughable abuse, if you don't fall in line. Water off a ducks back.

seen it all before. Man, I joined the board, as we were in the process of a 15point season.

the hysteria this season is amazing. Sign of the times

The improvement came when Kone, Kirchoff and Khasri were playing well, Kaboul finally became a player, Borini was doing the leg work, Mvila doing well and as you say less injuries.

Moyes has had to start the season playing kids and a decimated midfield and defensive line up - what chance would any manager have. Short hasn't spent nearly enough and as usual it's all the managers bloody fault that he tries to stretch a shite budget on a few players he hopes can deliver.

you post it better than me, for basically the same point.

Why would you stick with someone no matter what? I want us to be successful but it's not worth cutting off your nose to spite your face.

The reality is we've been very poor thus far. Aye, there's been bits and pieces but little semblance of an action plan. Injuries and failed deals certainly we'll play a part but I'm struggling to see a plan on the pitch.

We really need to see some improved showings and the next two games are perfect for it. Onwards hopefully, rather than a downward spiral.

5 games in lads, 5 games in...

Biting your negativity spouting tongues is really just far too much to ask for you two isn't it?

We're willing to put ourselves out there and canvass an opinion. It's not going well so far, that's facts and we've little to cheer.
