Moyes and short at the Hilton tonight

Shoulda gone to Newcastle for restaurant week.

Sean Dyche is able to set a team up and get them motivated.

He wouldn't leave a stable club like Burnley to come to our basket case though.
He has the players at his disposal to do that though. Their game plan is extremely simple. Rough up the opposition, win your second balls, if in doubt hoof the fucker. Man to man we just didn't have the players to compete with a side like that.

In the NYE game I think we were set up quite well against them initially, and looked a better side. Then we lost Kone to injury, and we lost any height in midfield as O'Shea had to drop back in. Then we lost Anichebe at half time. Men against boys from that point on.

With Kirchoff and Cattermole fit we'd compete with Burnley but we're piss weak

And Kone, and Anichebe. At 1-0 that game was still there for the taking I thought. We just couldn't cope with 50/50 balls and that Barnes roughing up our centre halves. Throw into the mix individual errors and you're going to have a bad day.

We were so much worse than that. Our first attempt on target was a Honeyman header in the 88th minute. It's staggering how awful we are

Ridiculous to be having meetings now. This should have been organised months ago! Our rivals like Hull are already getting players in. It's better than nothing at least. I just wish we'd be proactive instead of reactive.

In fairness you dont know that meetings like this havent been going on for months where he has set out trasnfer targets etc.

More likely this meeting was "all those players you wanted to sign have told us to fuck off, any one else in mind?"

Finalising curry recipes, ellis is going on a popularity campaign, dave hopes to make amends by showcasing his jalfrezi skills, and ellis has got the homebrew on.

bain is going to serve the scoff in just a dickie bow and wow the customers with his bombay mix and snake charming nightclass.

I'm talking about the league game on NYE.

I'm on such a downer with the club at the minute that I've no interest in what went on in Tuesday's game.

Don't think for one minute they would go to the Hilton to discuss anything about the club; transfer targets, budget etc. They would have had the discussion at the SoL... How was Moyeseys body language, did he get the drinks in, did he recommend the King Prawns?

Agree. Think it's fair to say we would be doing much better if we could play our strongest XI. As it stands on Sat, we will have about 4 of our first choice team playing

Pickford
Jones Kone Djilibodji VanAanholt
Kirchhoff Cattermole N'Dong
Watmore Defoe Anichebe

Kone and Denayer first choice, but I get your meaning.
