He has the players at his disposal to do that though. Their game plan is extremely simple. Rough up the opposition, win your second balls, if in doubt hoof the fucker. Man to man we just didn't have the players to compete with a side like that.Sean Dyche is able to set a team up and get them motivated.
He wouldn't leave a stable club like Burnley to come to our basket case though.
Shoulda gone to Newcastle for restaurant week.

In the NYE game I think we were set up quite well against them initially, and looked a better side. Then we lost Kone to injury, and we lost any height in midfield as O'Shea had to drop back in. Then we lost Anichebe at half time. Men against boys from that point on.
.... and it will be two games too latePresumably discussing whether we can bring any fucker in. We probably will, and he'll probably be shite
And Kone, and Anichebe. At 1-0 that game was still there for the taking I thought. We just couldn't cope with 50/50 balls and that Barnes roughing up our centre halves. Throw into the mix individual errors and you're going to have a bad day. With Kirchoff and Cattermole fit we'd compete with Burnley but we're piss weak
We were so much worse than that. Our first attempt on target was a Honeyman header in the 88th minute. It's staggering how awful we areAnd Kone, and Anichebe. Ridiculous to be having meetings now. This should have been organised months ago! Our rivals like Hull are already getting players in. It's better than nothing at least. I just wish we'd be proactive instead of reactive.

Got yer.I'm talking about the league game on NYE.
I'm on such a downer with the club at the minute that I've no interest in what went on in Tuesday's game.
Isn't it incredible how, in the day of the smart phone, no one has posted this on social media? Odd that.
Agree. Think it's fair to say we would be doing much better if we could play our strongest XI. As it stands on Sat, we will have about 4 of our first choice team playingShoulda gone to Newcastle for restaurant week.

Yeah maybe. Djilibodji looks far better with Kone next to him and Denayer hasn't played alongside Kone as far as I can remember....Kone and Denayer first choice, but I get your meaning.
That's the state we're in sadly.Papy as first choice![]()
