Mowbrays thoughts on the game

No problem with any of that, he's giving an honest opinion which is pretty much what I'm seeing too. We've had managers in the past that tell us it was good when it obviously wasn't.

Some people on here need to pick their toys up, like him or not, there's no need to go on like kids. We've had a good run since TM came in and now we're having a bad spell - all teams have bad spells. Stamping your feet and demanding a change is not looking at the bigger picture and if you get your way now, you'll be doing it next year with the new man. Let's show some patience for once, things can soon change.
Isn't that what he's doing? Unless you think we dominated that game for large spells and their goal going against the run of play?

The way he is talking it seems he knows the time has come or something has been said to him that we must get a win. Almost as if it was a goodbye talking how great the club is and knows it is a results business.
That’s exactly the vibe I took from his interview, talked about expecting the sack as it’s a results driven business. Talked about developing players was his forte, and hoped the players would realise what he was attempting to achieve with them, as if it was the legacy on his tenure he wanted them to remember. Very strange, no enthusiasm and just seems resigned to his fate.

Perhaps less so today, but we did dominate decent chunks. In general though, during this lean patch, I would agree with him that we have been the more dominant team in most matches. I know that dominating is not enough when you aren't scoring, can't defend corners and keep getting caught on the counter, but even so I think it's fair comment to say that.

Is he fuck man. He's an average to decent championship manager who proved to be a good fit for us after Neil legged it which could easily have spelled disaster for us. He's been in the game years and without being stellar anywhere he's served some decent clubs well. Show some f***ing respect man, no need to shred a decent bloke simply because we are the mighty Sunderland and you're pissed off we're not walloping everyone out of the park with a team of cheap kids.
This x100
Those above him wouldn’t be doing their jobs if they weren’t looking
Looking at themselves. Bottom line is he is a decent manager.....but celtic reckon he was average and apparently not too hard to do well up there. The machine broke after boro game

He’s a f***ing clown
Don't think he is a clown, but he is in denial I think. This is as good as it gets for Uncle Tone, time to move on and as soon as possible before the season has chance to fizzle out.
I always hope for success with our team (which I would love), I also don't mind if we fall flat on our faces (as long as we have given it a go), but I hate the prospect of mediocrity and being a mediocre team which alas I think we will get with Mowbray (Blackburn mark II, its always going to be better next season).

Two home games against TOP teams 🙄 excuses in already
He looks as sick as f*ck, that description of the game doesn't come close to what I witnessed , sorry I rate Mowbray but that is bizarre.
He sounds like he knows many want him out and I reckon if we lose next 2 home games he’s gone

Other teams seem to have more players on the pitch than we do. We "huff and puff" to no avail, scoring is very difficult for our system these days.

We are just so slow, by the time we get anywhere near their penalty area they have everyone back. At the other end we are not playing as a team to defend, the space they got was alarming. Double or treble up on Clarke and we are fucked,so easy to play against.

Mowbray has to go now for me, and no I dont have a suggestion for a replacement, that is Speakmans job

Doesn't look like he's going anywhere mate.

Sometimes we win the ball back when they break and we just turn and wait until they get every man back before starting to slowly pass it around.

Really don't get it. Last season we'd have gone for the throat on the counter and it suited us.

One point out of nine versus Plymouth, Huddersfield and Millwall is absolutely pathetic as are his pre and post match interviews. He’s absolutely lost and clinging on giving people false hope.

If he’s unhappy with our transfer policy etc he needs to man up and say so and clarify what he thinks he needs to succeed.
Talks sense as always and has 100 times more understanding and ability than those who are so pathetically critical of him on here.
Clap, clap, clap…..
