That only happens if Wickham believes he needs to learn anything.I get the impression he already has a pretty high opinion of himself and doesn't have any thing to learn.

Sadly, I am inclined to agree with you; however, I do live in hope that he will be able to mature enough quickly to be an effective centre-forward for us in the PL. If he can't break through this season with Dick providing guidance and better quality players in the squad then he has to be peddled. Fletcher can just ferk-off now as far as I'm concerned, simply because of the indignity displayed to supporters when he cupped his ears, complete twatish behaviour.

This!, i could have kind of put it aside if he went on to follow it up, not even week in week out just some but we know the story

Aye, showed a complete lack of professionalism with zero self reflection. It wasn't like he was getting dogs abuse for months on end either. What he did cop, he should have been expecting if he'd even considered how he had been performing.

Hoping that new recruits like Kaboul and Sow if we were to get him, would be able to change the mentality and professionalism of lads like Wickham.

We can hope but i highly doubt it, it's as if i got my contract, now im ok, for years been asking will he come good, my opinion is he never will

every time Sow has spoken of his future in the last few years he has insisted that he is happy to be playing in a muslim country. Not saying the move won't happen, but that is not such a generic statement as saying he is happy at the club.
Nee problem there. New mosque opening on st marks road near Lidl.

Well worth a punt at 5.5 m when Daryl Murphy is apparently rated at 4.5m. A couple of years older than would be ideal but the truth is we need some quality to attract quality and if he settles we've got a couple of years to develop youngsters or scout younger, better replacements that might consider signing for us if we've managed to finish upper mid table. Him and the lads we've already signed for around 20m would look like very sound business IMO.

He needs to be though. He isn't a skillful forward with tricks. He has power and a frame to use. Needs to apply it, become a nasty bastard. To easy to play against at the moment.

I think he's better with the ball at his feet running at people than with a defender at his back laying it off.
