Moussa Sow

Don't know if it's been mentioned but sow at an airport 3 hrs ago according to his official Twitter account - don't know if going somewhere with fenerbache

Fenebache are playing Olympiakos in a friendly on 21/07/15 at the Afyon Arena which is/Afyonkarahisarspor's new ground. I've no idea whether the trip would necessitate a flight as my Turkish geography isn't what it used to be.

Another interesting snippet is that so far this summer Fenebache have spent over €30m on players and to date have only recouped €3.5 in sales. I'm not sure of the exact state of their finances but I'd guess further sales are inevitable and Sow would be a saleable asset.

With Advocaat not meeting Short until tomorrow i'd take anything in the meantime with a pinch of salt. It sounded like from the reports that the plan was to wrap up the Lombaerts/Kaboul and Lens deals and then reassess.

I'm pinning my hopes on the fact DA won't want to risk his sparkling CV being marred by an owner not giving him sufficient funds to compete after begging him to come back.

Whickhams ability to play wide left seperates him from Defoe, Graham and Fletcher. Dick said he sees watmore as a striker, alavarez and Johnson there is question marks over for next season. So that only leaves potentially Lens and Buckley for the wide roles. (Mavrias set to leave)
Hopefully we can get rid of Fletcher, sign Sow. Keep Defoe....Whickham as a possible wide forward, Graham as a squad player.

1st up there is no such sunlun player as Whickham and secondly Wickham is f***ing wank

Apparently that's what tomorrow's meeting is about. I.e how much is left to spend, not IF there is any at all. Still expect a sizeable amount to be spent on a quality(relative to our current squad) CM.

My view is that we have money for a big money signing (Dembele?) but Dick wants to add another one (Sow?), plus he probably want them in now, without needing to wait for anyone to leave first.

I'm hoping that Dick will convince Ellis that players will cost much more next season therefore it'll be cheaper to buy a couple more quality players now.

I'll go along with this. Dick might be pleading the case to bring the two of them in first then off load.

According to twitter talks will begin tomorrow on Sow due to people being away. I know people are talking about the meeting happening before anymore transfer business, but people forget the possibility that this transfer was already given the go ahead before the agreed meeting.

Good goalscorer like, real natural instinct for it with good movement. Used to keep Papiss Cisse out of the Senegal team.

He's getting on a bit like so a big fee would be taking a bit of a gamble that he works out straight away.
