Ancelotti also managed to lose a league title to Montpellier when he was at PSG and has won only 4 league titles despite managing AC Milan, Real Madrid, PSG, Chelsea and Bayern for 20+years
Would rather have a European Cup over the league any day

League titles for me. Anyone can win a one off knockout cup competition very rare that a poor side wins a top league title though (Leicester obviously the anomaly)

I would normally agree, but the European Cup is the games highest honour. Also it is near impossible to win twice, never mind three times.

Even great managers can go through their careers without winning it, like Wenger

Impressed, CA has won the English, French, Italian and German leagues...

To be fair to Ajax they cannot compete financially. Even that great 90s team was bought up by bigger clubs.

Now it is impossible for them even to hold onto players until they mature.

Also, Barcelona is very much an extension of the Ajax philosophy
Ah, the Barcajax way as that tit in the Guardian calls it and no-one else does

That's cos he's a class manager.

Bet Man Utd fans are absolutely gutted with their season and I will be amazed if Mourinho keeps his job...
Nothing surprises me anymore, but with three trophies and Champions League qualification, that has to be a much better and more memorable season for a fan than just finishing a fairly distant second with no trophies, so surely they can't be that disappointed?
