About a tenth as good as Bob Paisley was

Paisley
6 leagues, 3 European cups, 3 league cups, 1 UEFA cup, 1 European super cup.

Mourinho
8 leagues, 2 European cups,, 4 league cups, 4 fa cups (or country's equivalent), 2 uefa cups.

Aye only a tenth as good as Paisley

Best pass that message on to all football managers then, doesnt matter if you win or not, just playing attacking football.
Couldn't care less what managers think,,I think I speak for most when I say I want to watch a good attacking game of football, otherwise what's the point.
How you view it is your choice

Well there is no denying he is a record breaker.
Manchester United won fewer games in the 2016/17 PL season than they have in their history.

Defending and tactics are part of football....

The point is to win.

They have the most expensive squad in the history of football and play like a Pulis team.

Their tactics against Celta Vigo, Anderlecht and Ajax were ridiculously over defensive. To spend the entire game defending your penalty area is a very dangerous tactic. If you recall Utd's goal was a massive deflection. What if Ajax had scored that type of goal. That's normally the type of thing that happens when you sit on your opponent's penalty area.

They beat some weak opponents in the Cups but in the league their ultra defensive play led to a record number of draws, and I don't see that changing under Mourinho whoever they buy. I used to be in awe of him, but whatever special ingredient he had has gone, and this just covers up cracks

He got the tactics spot on last night. It was a masterclass really. I can get why some people are unhappy though that they were not "entertained"
They scored first somewhat fortunately, but you sit on a game when you have by far the better players is a waste of resources. Mourinho's defensive tactics are exactly why they have struggled at home to break teams down. They are set up to nick games, but if teams play them at their own game, it's a stalemate

But won the League Cup and the Europa League.
First of all, any self respecting "Biggest Club in the World" wouldn't be in the Europa League and secondly any self -respecting "Biggest Club in the World" wouldn't be half arsed about a trophy that clubs in the PL and the fizzy pop league play fringe players in the first few rounds.
Oh and the mighty Southampton were the better team in the final

The tactics were perfect. I cant see how anybody can argue with that

Nonsense, winning the Europa League and finishing sixth with Man Utd is proof he is the greatest manager in history according to the OP
