I love Clarke mate, he's class but if he does go in January we have the likes of Aouchiche, Rusyn and Jewi that can operate there. If Ballard goes we'd be relying on Seelt and Triantis who are nowhere near ready for Championship starts in my opinion.
AgreedBallard. But thought Hume was excellent.
second half Ekwah played much deeper and better than the first half which allowed Neil to move further up the field. Couple that with Pritchard coming on , when Aoosheeesh was just beginning to make an impact, changed the game...I'd give it to Pritch too.Could have been 4 or 5 but 3 points is the main thing.
Defence played well as a unit but still concede the only shot on target.
Huggins and Ballard the stand out performers there.
Ekwah came more into it after a poor start. Dan Neil could have had a least a couple of goals but excellent finish for the one he took.
Wingers hit and miss again, excellent at times then frustrate.
Jobe showed himself as a good striker and should have had his goal.
Subs- Pritch made the difference a d Mayenda put himself about.
Between Huggs, Ballard and Pritch and I'll give the nod to Pritch
People on match thread were blaming o nien….Lot of good performances. Ballard was good but if that had been O'9 losing his man for their goal there would be a queue of people with crosses wanting to nail Luke onto them.
Hume and Huggins were both good, they worked hard and both got lucky a couple of times when slightly out of position. O'9 was solid as was Ekwah and i liked the way he really made certain he wasn't going to lose his man when defending corners. Pritchard deserves a special mention and Jobe showed real potential as a striker and was robbed of his goal. Think i would probs go with Neil, did everything well and took his goal brilliantly the way we would want a striker to.
No surprise there... they probably blamed him when they spilt their beer and our goal was ruled offside as well.People on match thread were blaming o nien….
