Paul Stewart. f***ing rubbish. Wasn't as big fan of Gardner either, that f***ing cowardly tackle where he waved his leg in over the top was the end for him. Cant remember who it was against but it was horrific and proper snidey shithouses tackle
.

Vaguely remember that tackle. Was it not against everton in the great escape season?

Catts fer me like.
How ?

Gareth Hall replaced dariusz kubiki the model pro fullback when he was going to play his 500th consecutive game or something, horrendous decision by Peter Reid, and he tried to justify it by playing hall who was about about 2 stone over weight, shit and clueless with the ball

One of the few decisions I hate king reidy for defo blotted his copy book with me on this

Who's yours?

Was reading the Kilbane thread and it's got me wondering. For me, it's probably Jason McAteer, closely followed by Don Hutchinson. Proper hated them both, especially McAteer. Just seemed like a wind-up merchant with no particular skill imo. I can't even remember him kicking a ball for us, just remember him constantly having arguments with refs and players.

Hutchinson just oozed twat. Decent player, just couldn't stand the bloke.
I broke McAteers car. True story - he was foaming. Tom Peeters an'all.

I liked borini. Put an effort in.
Kone can't be arsed if its not going his way. Still keep him if he's prepared to knuckle down in the fizzy pop league though.

This is my problem with Borini he went to not being the best player but at least he got stuck in and put effort in, to strolling around the pitch sulking and I think it's been a steady slide since he came permanently. He has always believed he was above safc and wouldn't have been here if he could have for as much money out in Italy.

Stubbs all day long. Plenty I didn't like much as they were shite- Hetzke, Hall, McDonagh, Andy Gray and more but Stubbs clearly took the absolute piss.
Strange how he went back to Everton and was a good player again. Almost like he put the effort in there.. f***ing despicable man

Only player where I heard a collective sigh from the whole crowd when receiving the ball. Every pass he played was humped down the line and out for a goal kick.
Every time, he ran 10 yards if he had space to and he's do that awful sliced ball down the line which at best was gobbled up by the full back, at worst and usually, went out of play 2 yards after it left his foot. It was magnified because he replaced the most consistant and efficient fullback we've had in 30 years. Hall was useless.

Fabio Borini.

Absolute twat of the highest order, relied too much on the reputation of goals v Newcastle & the cup final goal to try and stop any blame going to him last season. Didn't want to sign for us permanently the first time.... then did 2 seasons ago cause Brendan didn't deem him good enough.
