Most hated Sunderland player?

There's many names listed here who were twats of the highest order, huge egos, money grabbers, shite players, but one stands out amongst every single one:

Adam Johnson - because he brought shame on the club.

This thread is depressing, look at the amount of players that can be are mentioned as clearly not given a toss when they are here.

This is something that we need to move away from. Sure it's easier said than done though, as I'm sure a player doesn't say "I don't really wanna come and play as I think Sunderland a shit hole and safc is a bit shit but your offer was best financially!"

For me it's Borini and Kone as it's hard to think past them two as they are so recent. We all know they had more to give but didn't give a toss.

Any lazy cùnt who doesn't put a shift in.
Like rodwell.
Favourites would be arca quinn and Phillips.
Fair doos to defoe. When you look at the players we have had since reidy and the quinn phillips era we've under achieved massively.
That really pisses me off.
Back to basics now and I really hope grayson is the man to steady the ship.

I liked borini. Put an effort in.
Kone can't be arsed if its not going his way. Still keep him if he's prepared to knuckle down in the fizzy pop league though.

Bent......... by a trillion light years!but stubbs deserves a special mention for his disrespect for football!

The one I despised most last season was Borini, closely followed by that twat Kone.

Soz mate, wasn't supposed to be a negative thread. Just seeing Kilbane's face reminded me of Ireland and Jason McAteer, who I f***ing hated.

I'm sure we've all hated 1 Sunderland player in our lifetimes. Doesn't hurt to let it out!

I didn't mind those 2. They just got their heads down and played football. And Lee Howey is a f***ing legend imo. Clark, Hutchinson and Chopra on the other hand... mag wankers.
No worries mate wasn't a dig at you don't mind the thread! Mine was Derek Ferguson.

Derek Ferguson
Another reason I like these nostalgia threads... reminds me about players I'd totally forgotten about.

Derek f***ing Ferguson. Jesus wept that's a name I haven't heard for a while. Terry Butcher would disagree mind. Loved a bit Fergie did owld Tel.

Ha 1 goal in 2 seasons and probably no assists. A great return from our creative midfielder!

That's just because Don "The Don" Goodman was stealing all his limelight man.

I actually have fond memories of Ferguson thinking back to that team. What didn't you like about him, apart from him being shite?

Ha just thought he was really overrated. He was like a Scottish Ray Wilkins with his 5 yard crab like neat passes! Loved the G Force of Tippy Gray & Goodman pretty decent second tier strike force!

Gray & Goodman
They were immense like iirc through my 10 year old eyes, albeit playing against 2nd tier opposition. Apart from Quinny/Phillips they're the best pairing I've ever seen. Always buzzing around the box, both big lads, odds on one of them would score at Roker, if not both.

Honestly, if I met Don now I'd probably cry.
