Most famous person you have ever met?

A few F1/Motorsport people for me:

Nigel Mansell
Jenson Button
Derek Bell

(All at Goodwood Festival of Speed - lovely blokes especially Derek Bell)

Kimi Raikkonen and Romain Grosjean about 5 years ago at Silverstone. We got tickets for a pitlane walk on the Thursday, everyone crowded around Mercedes and Red Bull's garages (where ne one was coming out bar a few random mechanics), me and my mate walked further down to where ne one was stood around and them two came out and signed our race programmes.

Julio Arca and Liam Lawrence signed my SAFC The Complete Record book in Debenhams in the Bridges circa 2005.

Kevin Ball outside the SOL a few times.

Probably, having a chat with Ian Hutchinson and John McGuinness at the Isle of Man TT or maybe Peter Reid at the SOL when he was doing a talk-in and book signing.

Was in the same Yamaha hospitality as McGuinness at a BSB round few years ago, don't know if it was just a bad day but he was a surly miserable git that day. I suppose to be fair he was just recovering from a real bad accident but all folks were doing was wishing him well in his recovery.

Stormin' Norman Schwarzkopf at a pub in Southwick village near Portsmouth. He was doing a D-Day documentary for ABC TV filmed at Southwick House war rooms. Lovely bloke. Big as well. Having a pint and a sandwich with a couple of his crew and he asked us to join him. Pushed two tables together and had a pleasant half hour chatting about the local area.

Met Derek Bell a good few years ago at Croft , then met him again last year.

Got chatting to him and said we’d met before at Croft about 7 or 8 years ago when he was a brand ambassador for Audi , except he said he’d been working with Bentley for over 15 years so it had to be longer.

We worked out it was nearly 18 years before , then we talked about how time was disappearing rather than the cars.

Lovely bloke , proper gentleman.

I’ve had nights on the piss, parties, orgies, alsorts with a whole host of famous footballers. Leeds back in the day when they had Ferdinand, Keane etc plus safc in the days of stead etc… I was invited along on that night of the safc porn (obviously wish I’d gone now I know how the night ended up), but I had work early the next morning so declined.

Guessing with your username you were invited to do the cleaning up.

Lots, best craic, Di Canio.

Lately, a couple of high profile football managers who's kids go to my school. But only to report on their progress not talk about football.
