Tbf it's just a case of doing due diligence. Galloway was clearly signed by Grayson because he 'knew him', but there's a bit of difference between playing for an experienced side in Preston and what Grayson inherited. It was a baptism of fire and the lad wasn't up to it.

When you sign these types of kids you need some kind of structure for them. Senior pros, a clear role, coaching. They don't just come out of these clubs oven-ready.

Seems pretty easy to me. When you play with 3 CBs, you need two others you can count on to play.

3 really.

Seems straightforward to me - Kosovan lad and Feeney competing as git big hard men; Willis and Flanagan as the "is this person actually a full-back" role on the cover behind/out wide with more (relative in Flanagan's case) pace and then Wright/Taylor as the sweeper/libero.

Every back three seems to have these three exact roles.

You would think (if we sign them) that Kosovan lad, Wright and Willis would start the season, but knowing Parky he'll probably find a way to play f***ing Flanagan.

No i made a sarcastic remark indicating weve got a poor record of signing players from Everton i never said once the kids gonna be shite never even heard of him.

Nowt against this lad, I hope he comes here and has a great career, but I think we need to be shopping in our own league, focusing on players that have done well at this level, not kids from Premier league academies
