More music....female vocalists.

Kate Bush is my all time favourite but some be
ters here too...

Cara Dillon

Kate Rusby - with no studio trickery of any kind, just how her voice is...

Treana Morris was lead singer with Wiredaisies if you want to hear more...

Shirley Bassey - As Long as He needs Me

Can't help but hear my mam singing along to this. 30 years soon since she died. Makes me happy/sad.

Two superb womens' voices re-interpret classic songs.
This written by Christine McVie
And this written by Etta James and Ellington Jordan.
Beth borrowed the arrangement from Etta's later stage shows, but kicks it up a gear emotionally, I think.

Saw her mam mentioned upthread but special mention to Whitney Houston who could sing like this coked out of her head. Remember kids "Crack is whack"

Some great artists/tracks listed here. Three of my current fav female vocal tracks are: Roberta Flack (‘the First Time ever I saw your face’); Joni Mitchell (‘both sides now’); and Zaz (‘Éblouie par la nuit’).
