Dolores was a lovely lass.
I met her in a bar in County Cork, when I'd been to a hurling match with my mates from Waterford.
They were playing and lost to Limerick (her county) and she spotted our Waterford colours and came over to chat about the hurling, and music.
She had a reputation for being stand-offish, but she was nothing of the sort.
She was really down to earth, chatty, friendly and funny, and she gave me her phone number to ring, so I could get on the VIP guest list, and meet her and the band backstage, at their concert in Newcastle.
A lovely lass, tiny in size, but with a huge personality, and sadly gone way too soon.
