Why do you assume that everyone else who has given up their ticket is uncommitted but you are just unlucky?

There are lots of people who can't go every week any more due to circumstance, I think it's great the club offers those people a chance to attend until their circumstances change.

You get upset when people criticize the club, but you are having a go at them for something they've done which is, on the face of it, a nice gesture because it doesn't directly benefit you. Seems strangely selfish.

It is a shame you may lose your ticket and I hope you find a job/cash to prevent that from happening but you aren't the only person who desperately wants to go and can't.

Because people were openly bragging about not renewing?

They've even sent me one, two actually. I might renew, thanks to their kind gesture,or not as the case may be. So thrilled the op is delighted, he sounds a bit like last week's milk to me.

I know what your saying I just think the point is some of us are skinting ourselves for season tickets, struggling to pay etc yet people who arent doing that get togo for nowt or reduced prices anyway - its like standing at a till paying for something and then watching the same shop just had out the same thing you have just bought to passers by for nowt

Cheers.
Signed up to 5 teaching agencies but it is still too early into term.
That's tory Britain for you, don't say that you weren't warned[DOUBLEPOST=1378999347][/DOUBLEPOST]

They want us to renew, it's making me think about it and I just might. Even though I've found plenty to do, I am ambivalent about not going.

It would have been a wasted vote anyway, I've read what you've had to say on the matter.

Have you really? I think all politicians and all who go on about it are twats. You seem to want to be in that envelope.

To be fair I don't get the impression that the club give a fuck about fans that have fallen on hard times - this seems designed just to try and entice those that can afford tickets but simply haven't bothered into the ground in the hopes they might buy one afterwards. Its good that those who have fallen on hard times can enjoy a match as well like, but I don't think they are really in the club's thinking here, they just want the 15 game tickets to sell well (which is fair enough like)

Probably correct. At the end of the day all clubs will end up reducing ticket prices as the buble has now burst, and with the increase in TV revenue the clubs have a duty to offset match day sales to reflect this. The penny will drop. Eventually.

If Quinn was still here he would be going round on Sat afternoon to the pubs showing the match handing out free pints and tickets for the Liverpool game - to think some of us take pride in our attendances aswell, means fuck all as no one has any idea how may 100/1000 have just popped in for nowt

this.

free tickets are a disgrace.

why should someone pay £500+ for a season ticket, only to sit next to somebody who gets in on a one off for nowt.
No different to someone getting a cheaper deal with sky while the bloke next door has paid full price for years, is that wrong too?

Definitely the same people getting free tickets?

If people don't want to go unless its cheaper, that's up to them.....the club is smart to cater for that.

Just concentrate on your self and don't worry about what other people have/don't have. I'm sure if your ticket lapses and you get a letter offering you a free one you would be quite happy.

You tell me, you seem to have plenty to say
And don't tell me what to do pal.
