Loved to kna what the fuck I have to dee get a free ticket out the club

20 f***ing years at the SOL & 15 years at roker before that I been gannin not a fuckin sniff of a freebie

What's needed to sort DB's problem is a sudden increase in teacher's being unable to work.
Is there a TMB? (teacher's message board) where the OP could indulge in endless arguments and wait for a few posters to lose their marbles (most teachers are quite high in the stress league to start with) thus creating supply opportunities.

Works for me like.
I get to keep my season ticket and my happy go lucky attitude can keep cheering people up on here.

I was down Chester Le Street today and Herons was advertising for delivery drivers as they're starting home deliveries. Probably won't pay much but better than nowt?

I've only worked two weeks out of the last eleven. Back to reality on Monday though.

I have had a knock back due to being over qualified and the view that I will jump if a teaching job became available to me.[DOUBLEPOST=1378995793][/DOUBLEPOST]Anyway, lets get back on topic.

We got a free black cats bar upgrade for a bit but they binned that in recent years. Now you get a free McFlurry and a portion of chips if you buy 4 pints or some gubbins like that.

I don't mind the club trying to tempt people back but the timing makes it seem a bit like desperation. I realise the fixtures haven't helped the club, they like to do their half season tickets and if they did that it'd be very hard to shift them since all the "big" games seem to be in the first half of the season, presumably leading to the 15 game season ticket.

But even bearing that in mind, we've had one home game and they're trying to entice people back already? For a start the side hasn't clicked, they'd be better trying it later on when/ if we start looking decent (currently people will think "same old shit") and its been so little time I doubt anyone who has given up has started missing it yet! Additionally, they're giving free tickets to one of the "big" games which is bound to annoy some.

I don't mind them doing it, I'm a ST holder and I'm not too bothered if ex ST holders get one game free to tempt them back (it'll be annoying if it happens a few times this season like!) but even bearing in mind the need for a 15 game rather than half season ticket it just seems too early.

I have no problem at all with any gimmick that gets more people to the match, I actively take the opportunity to take up any cheapos that come my way over the season so that lads that would never turn up for £25 can join it at (say) £10. Many people (yourself included at present) do not have the money to afford a season ticket or a full price match ticket for whatever reason, I would rather they came at a reduced rate than not at all.

I wonder if it's because it is on Sky, so were expecting a lower attendance.

got this one presumably cause last season work had 4 tickets, this season dropped down to 3

You were on the other day giving it the biggun about the lack of stubhub tickets making those who give up their season cards (because of amount of cheap/free tickets) look stupid.

For what it's worth - I think it's ridiculous but then I haven't ridiculed those who sensibly give up season tickets for the sake of cheaper tickets.

Now that's said. Do carry on... ;)

That has fuck all to do with me being unemployed though. I don't want to give my ticket. They did want to.
And that thread is ridiculing these berks correctly as it has NOT worked out for them.

Well done SAFC, chasing the fallen fans.
I have had a season ticket for over 20 years and went for years before that of course.
I am currently unemployed and have absolutely NO INCOME so much so that I cannot go to the Peterborough match and next month's season ticket payment will not happen.
Can I assume that you will send me free tickets?
Or as I suspect, you'll withdraw my season ticket.

I think that they should take this on board and offer you a different payment option later in the season. I know this wont happen though.

well it clearly has considering the club are, unsurprisingly, offering them all free tickets.
