More crap from the Daily Star

There is so much wrong with that article it's difficult to know where to start

Do people actually buy that rag?

And, by the way, according to these nuggets, Henderson is Manchester Utd fan. This despite him telling everyone that he's always been a Sunderland supporter.

It amazes me how some of these tabloid journalists are still employed, most of the stuff theywrite is factually incorrect, and the rest must be made up while sitting on the pot, crapping out what's left of their brains !

i suppose him stating that giggs was his fav player, equates to an assumption he is a man utd fan altogether.

of course rubbish

Yesterdays Independent quote:

" My parents are Sunderland fans, my mates are Sunderland fans and I'm a Sunderland fan"

Not much ambiguity there I would have thought.

aye but reading between the lines, he loves alex ferguson and wants to go out on the lash with wazza

He is man utd fan.

Every kid growing up at that time turn round and say they were MAN U fans, simply because of the players they have. I used to love Liverpool as I was growing up, but still a Sunderland supporter. There's a hell a difference between a fan and a supporter

aye, id always heard he was a man united fan as well- obviously cares a lot about SAFC, and his parents are SAFC, but he's a united fan iirc

He never said that, just that he admired some of their players as he was growing up. Big f***ing difference.

What I heard in that interview was him, his family and his mates are SAFC, he admired beckham and giggs.

I think it is quite clear that he supports SAFC, these tabloid rags, I don't know!

I'm not talking about the article though- I have heard from someone who knows him (Greedminds moment ;)) that he has said Man United are the only club he would move to and i think, but cant remember entirely (hence the "iirc") that it was mentioned that he was a united fan when he was younger. Maybe he was for a while and the became a Sunderland fan later on when he grew up like

Aye I've heard that rumour anall but don't think he was a proper fan, most of us admired glamour clubs when we were younger and sky and the premier league have just accentuated that. Doubt he knows much about there history and almost certainly knows more about ours from his ma and da.
If he hadn't been a professional footballer he'd almost certainly have been a Sunderland fan not Man U it's in his blood.

He said in the interview he's always been a fan of the way Man Utd play in the same way most people here are. In the same way if you were asked 'Are you a fan of the way Barcelona play?' you'd say yes.

Or if you were asked 'Are you a fan of the way Sam Alladeryce teams play?' chances are you'd say 'No'.
