What do they do?
Is it a good thing to be well thought of by players who were spectacularly unfit?I went to school with Dave, top lad and highly thought of by the players.
Redundancy is the key word as it suggests they wont be replaced and their roles seem to be essential
Has to be a different title or they could go for unfair dismissal.Replaced by someone on less money with a different job title.
A dirty sweep with Newcastle hero.Logon or register to see this image

You would expect to have a fitness bloke in there though.They won't replace the number 2 (at best) physio and the head of performance which seems to be fancy name for fitness trainer. Our fitness has been pretty shit since Keane left IMO.

We'll employ new people but with a different job title and a different pay scale
Do we still have those?Why? Any coach (physio) worth his salt can weigh the players, calculate their body fat, put on fitness drills without the ball and assess the players fitness.
My bitch.He is your GF. XXX
Our new owners are either;
A: Getting rid of the rot. Ridding the club of the people who have overseen our most disastrous spell ever. Clearing the decks for some competent replacements.
or
B: They're taking what was, in theory, a Premier League level infrastructure and stripping it back to the bare bones. Possibly downgrading us to the 'minnow' level they're used to operating at with Eastleigh.
Answers on a postcard

I can understand sackings 100% but not redundancies.
DB was the rehab physio. Working with the likes of Watmore and others with long term injuries. Let's face it the 1st team physio could do that job after or even during training.
AL was 'head of performance' which is pretty much a nothing title and job. I would say the manager is head of performance along with his 1st team coaches. We can't carry folk like this in the 3rd division.
@hughbert back being an absolute bellend again.
as if this news means we wont have physios or fitness coaches in some capacity ffs
