Mogga's last stand

Not a popular opinion when the majority of the fanbase are content treading mid table. But he isn’t good enough, and has proven it to me. If we are to make the next step we need a better manager. Rather make that change sooner rather than later. But if we stick with Mogga it’ll get nasty in 1/2 years. He is a nice bloke and a decent manager but he is a Lee Johnson not a Peter Reid.

I’ll still support him and won’t join an anti-Mowbray bandwagon, but he isn’t where it is at, and everyone can see it they just either don’t care (content with 13th for now) or don’t want further disruption.

For Fucks Sake...some idiots on here want a new manager every six weeks. We need stability...so many short memories and bellends pissing their pants. We have just spent four years in Division Three....f***ing Grow Up.

Many didn't want him in the first place..... and it's so far panning out that they are correct. Think he can't be judged until he has Stewart fit. However giving him too long could be a mistake that puts us back in l1

Don't underestimate the loss of Stewart in that press. He was always the first to press.

We looked a lot better when Pritchard and Evans came on, and I dare say the result would have been different if they'd started.

Mowbray dropped a bollock today by playing Ba and Neil together and judging by his comments after the match, he realises he did.
Didn’t
Listen to
His
Comments after the match.
Complete shit he spouts.
Inexcusable that he didn’t make changes at half time when they were desperately needed.
Almost every Sunderland supporter in the ground would have changed it but Uncle Tony thought he knew better. He f***ing didn’t. Pathetic and the beginning of the end for him as far as I’m concerned. I didn’t want him but was prepared to give him a chance, but today was the worst manager performance that I can remember. If anyone can tell me otherwise please do so.
Spot on.

He was never wanted .

He’s shit.

I’ve recently argued that it’s harsh to judge the fella too much given the lack of firepower we have had for a while, BUT the number of games we have now started very poorly is worrying. Boro, Watford, Swansea, Luton, Huddersfield, and Cardiff off the top of my head. Some we have salvaged something after subs, others not, but it suggests to me he isn’t setting them up well.

He was an appointment to make us solid in the championship. Won't go down but won't threaten the play offs. He won't be here past the two year contract he signed. I think the club took him on with that in mind. I would have preferred to take on a younger manager with a higher potential ceiling.

Every time we lose …
What is it with fans like you?
Not a single fan would have swapped Neil for Mowbray at the time. However, we all got behind him and probably got into a false support/hope when he was appointed and rightly so.
He had a decent start, but ever since then been it has been shit. We all got behind him, we all support the team, but he isn’t and never will be the right appointment. Imo he is f***ing shit.
It’s not cos of a defeat, if we all look from an outside perspective we are worse off with Mowbray than Neil

I was thinking after the game today, apart from the Rotherham game I don't think we've put in a good 90 minute performance.

People need to take a look at results across the division, they are all over the place. Mowbray may not be the long term answer but which managers in the division who don't have parachute payments are doing better? Everybody who knows anything about the game understands that stability is important.
Absolute utter nonsense
Plenty spouting nonsense at the minute.
