It was a class tackle. Looked bad as his foot seemed to bounce upwards off the ball.

Wish someone would finish him, he's getting on my tits.

As an aside, see Fabregas - who appears to be turning into a serial bad tackler - isn't getting any adverse comment that I've seen. Perhaps the people he has been playing against understand the physicality of football better the Redknap and his bunch of whiners

i wish someone would show that to spurs and modric. that is a potential career finishing tackle. modric completed the game v safc.

anichebe has barely played in the 18 months, since that tackle was done

100% correct.

The scrawny ugly little fucker wouldn't have lasted 2secs in the game during the 70 or 80s..whining on like a little girl because cattermole had the cheek to tackle him

Is he in the papers again going on about it like ?

They keep going on trying to get the attention of the refs, so Cattermole will be a marked man more than he is now, basically cos they didn't get their pound of flesh first time around

Shame Catts' foot didn't bounce higher off the ball towards Modric's f***ing neck. Crying little gonk.

the little gay ****!!! get over it and harden up u little twat

could of would of should of, easy to say Modric you little pleb, you could of played better and maybe won the game but you didnt. thats life, heres what you could of won - a speedboat you arse muching twat

It puts into context what a brave referee Foy was on Sunday......Catts could well have been booked a number of times over judging by the reaction of the Chelski players but he stood up to them.......it might actually work in our favour.
One thing I didn't like was our players trying to get their centre back sent off. It might well have been a sendinf off but I can do without the Lads turning into Carragher et al.

I agree, don't like to see it, but when in Rome and all that! When others stop getting an advantage from doing it then I would expect us not to do it. No point being a standard bearer for such things.

nah, not sure about this....it's the thin edge of the wedge.....diving, screaming at refs, hitting people in the stomach, where does it end? Not for me........it's not about being a standard bearer, it's about doing the right thing.

Paul Scholes has made countless similar tackles all the way through his career and people just laugh them off thinking there's no intent and it's because he used to be a forward and hence isn't the best at tackling. It's getting ridiculous at the moment - there's so much focus on the so called 'lesser' sides and none whatsoever on the bigger clubs, who dive, con, cheat and make bad tackles regularly.

Arsenal were the dirtiest team this season at the SOL. But to listen to the Whinger after almost ever game you'd think they were saints among swine.

Even though they were the team I hated more than any other, just for a season I'd like to see the old 1970 Leeds back ... it would be hilarious.

The likes of Modric wouldn't even turn out.
