Actually made the exact same network move (albeit on the same phone). Just kept the old sim in until it showed there was no signal, then changed over.

Actually made the exact same network move (albeit on the same phone). Just kept the old sim in until it showed there was no signal, then changed over.

I think that I messed up by powering on the new phone before the network switch had finished.

I did that to synch the contacts/calendar etc. with the old phone.
