Post your excuse's here ????

Am in Ponteland Airport flying at 3.30 so no way of being there ( hol booked b4 fixtures out )

Im in Spain (again holiday booked before fixtures announced), at the time I was gutted that I was going to miss it, now Im thinking it may be a blessing in dsuguise

My wife is getting near the end of a difficult pregnancy, and I'm needed too much at home, to look after her and our four years old son.

I had all the details and money ready to book a 4 day break this week flying back on Sunday. Then I realised it was Derby day.

Now I have a very tetchy lass this week (but when are they not)

The only reason I'm not going is so that I can post on these types of thread and rile people by saying I don't need an excuse

can I do the opposite and make excuses why I have to go and can't skive from it?

have to take my brother to his first derby
work have stopped offering overtime this month
no-one needs me to wash my hair
I cant afford to go on holiday so couldnt escape
I live in false optimism that maybe just maybe we can get something, although I know deep down we'll get battered all game

Bit of an opposite for me. Its my sons second birthday on sunday, we shall be celebrating it a day early this year. He won't understand still and when he's old enough to, he will ne coming to the match with me.[DOUBLEPOST=1382520038][/DOUBLEPOST]Be not ne

just hadn't got round to getting tickets, wasn't waiting to see the outcome of Swansea and was fairly optimistic but after that 45mins just thought to myself er, not again. Seen us get beaten off them too much already.

usually we would have season tickets but we didn't get them this year because we have a 3 year old and a 9 month old and childcare for games is tricky. So decided we would go as and when. I was disappointed in the beginning but now I'm thanking my lucky stars.

i can see us going through the motions from now until the end of the season just like under McCarthy.

Not allowed to go. Very tempting to go but it's not worth the risk. Been toying with the idea for weeks now. Will be watching it in the Brit in Chester if I don't go.

Step daughter is in her first ice skating competition, starts at 3pm.....

Wouldn't care, it was me who encouraged her to enter, totally forgot it was derby day!!.....

At a wedding on Saturday down Greta Bridge staying over and really don't want the spineless bastards to spoil what should be a class weekend

When a get back al probably just take the dog out for a walk
