Mini pitch invasions

Feethams gets 1500/match, they could probably all get on with no problems, especially if it was once a year. When there are 48000 in, what happens when everybody decides they want to celebrate with the players? What's that about anyway? It never happened at Roker as far as I can remember.

It is basically selfish, inconsiderate and childish, and could in theory damage the club. Will the culprits be paying any fines the club incurs? I won;t hold my breath.

You are joking right?

That's not exactly true though, as teams like Man Utd, Chelsea and, recently, Man City spend millions on Public Relations and managing their public image for the very reason that they care an awful lot about what people think of them.

aye cos they want to cash in. doesnt stop ther fans running on the pitch occasionaly or in man utds case acting like animals on a regular basis which in turn doesnt stop the clubs doing well or make people or sky think worse of them

to hell with all that shite anyway. you win a big game or score a huge goal then there will always be times people gt carried away and run onto the pitch. so fuck. no harm, carry on. at least theres still some fun and passion left in the fans (for now)

Well not everyone wants to go on the pitch and celebrate, you and others on this thread have proven that point.

When you follow lower league football, you dont have much else to celebrate do you, theres no league cup/fa cup semi finals to get excited over. So it was a bit of a tradition at the last home game of every season to go on the pitch and thank the players and manager and have a laugh.

You need to get a grip. Its people on a football pitch ffs. Stop being so precious, it makes you look daft.

then quote the f***ing op then and not me - you'll be trying to deny that there's ever been a pitch invasion anywhere next up.
No, I just assumed that when the OP specified invasions when 2 different teams scored, then you said on the same thread that you enjoyed invasions, that you might have meant the same thing. Try explaining yourself a bit better in future, if you are able.

You're right, no amount of PR can stop people acting stupidly.

And although I don't necessarily agree with it, I don't have any real issues with people being swept up with the emotion of the occasion and running onto the pitch. I've never done it but probably because I sit at the top of the East stand. Maybe if I sat nearer the pitch I'd have a different opinion! Haha

Your pitch invasions of 15 year old charvs everytime you get a throw-in at the Derby are embarrassing as fuck, nothing to be proud of.

"OH NO WE CANT GO ANY FUTHER ITS THE HALF WAY LINE"

as for thr 15 year old chavs so then why were your "hard lads" climbing back over eachother to get away for these chavs and getting twatted by your own shitting it? Can't deny this one really was in the NOTW.

Thought al of this would have been pretty self explanatory

I'm old school - love a mini pitch invasion.

Understand the safety aspect (especially after Stevenage last week) but from growing up a celebratory mini invasion adds extra to the occasion.

Think it's terrible how last time some folk were made out to be worse than rapists for running on the pitch.

Same with cricket, remember the gold old days when at lunch at a match families would be on the outfield having a knock about with the bat and ball.

Not just because it was against the Mags, but seeing the pictures from Hereford is one of the best and most historical scenes in football.

In the current climate they'd all have a 3 year ban - very sad.

The small-time hard man attitude of some posters on here is brilliant.

Non of the small time hard man here but some questions for you?

The play off game why did you stop at the half way line with the pitch invasion?

And it was both sets on the pitch last time, why did you lot try to climb back to get away?

no doubt some thick fuckers from both sided will try it again this time around.

 Whereas you look like Einstein.

Me?

Ive already told you ive never been on the pitch for a Sunderland game.

Feethams dosen't exist as a football ground anymore so i was a youngun when all that happend....

f***ing hell you really are daft.

Says the guy who comes onto the internet to wind up opposition fans anonymously?

I've got no problem with Newcastle fans who want to post on here as long as they have some constructive input, but if you're just gonna get people riled up whilst hiding behind a user name then please grow up and move on.
