Mini pitch invasions

Anyone who enters the field of play should be fined £5,000.

$7,000 in Australia, seems to keep the idiots off the playing surface.

see how many people take that into consideration when benty strikes a 90th minute winner ;)

Although I don't agree with going on the pitch there are some right miserable bastards on here today.

Never been on the pitch in my life.

closest i got was Notts County away when we were shit and stopped up....my dad wouldnt let me though :)

When somebody goes on the pitch to celebrate with the players it's clear they've just carried away with the moment.

It's horrible to see the stewards rush to take them away happy as larry and centre of attention. Unfortunatley though there has to be some punishment because we can't have it happen consistently.

Strange one was Wellbecks' goal against Everton some lad ended up on the pitch. I know it put us ahead but just didn't see the big occassion whereas if someone does it tomorrow when we got 2-0 (fingers crossed) then it's a different kettle of fish!

Fuck off you miserable bastards, get a job with the plod.

thank fuck some people from the real world have woke up

thought id walked into a health and safety for the politically correct forum earlier

Not just today mate. In general.

It's like some people on here haven't committed a sin in their life. PC at its best.

What's wrong with jumping on the pitch to celebrate with some of the players? Personally, it's not for me but I wouldn't take the hump if I saw others doing it.

It looks class on the camera's and only helps add to the atmosphere in my opinion.

Have people forgotten the days when there'd be full-on pitch invasions???

Its not something that I would ever do. I sit row 12 for starters. But in a highly charged emotional moment cant blame anyone for doing it. Like already said, the SKP one in the corner looked class

Go for i i say although some unlucky fans might get thrown out.
The ones moaning are stewards/ex stewards most likely or else just f***ing boring arseholes

IF we win I hope to god nobody enters the field, purely because I wouldn't want to give the Newcastle based 'regional' press any ammunition to distract from our victory again. The bleating on about 'derby day thugs' in the Chronicle last time round after a dozen safc fans (and a few skunks, but that was never emtioned) ran onto the pitch and jumped around for about 20 seconds was pathetic, total sour grapes. I honestly thought nothing of it at the tome, but it was all people (mostly mags who'd been nowhere near the game) talked about in relation to that day, you'd not have tought a game had actually taken place.

Refer to LDSAFCFTM's answer then for your honest and simple answer
