Millwall vs Fulham (Friday night)

With the Premier League title wrapped up and European and relegation places all but confirmed, this is probably the most significant non cup match on TV for a long time.

Huge game. Millwall unbeaten in 17 league matches, are currently in 6th place and badly need the 3 points to fend off a whole host of clubs beneath them and Fulham, on their own 21 game unbeaten streak, can't afford to drop any more points in their pursuit of 2nd place Cardiff.

On a side note, if Fulham were to lose tomorrow and Cardiff go on to beat Nottingham Forest on Saturday night and Derby on Tuesday (not out of the question), Fulham will officially be out of automatic promotion contention before their match against us a week on Friday.

Predictions?

We need this to happen. If Cardiff drop any points Fulham will be out all guns blazing next friday and I honestly cant imagine how our lot will cope with them

Fulham will stuff us

They will still beat us

Yeah, they possibly will. They'll still likely be favourites but it will be a far less daunting task if they were to make 8-10 changes. That's certainly our best chance of getting anything down there, so I'll personally be hoping Cardiff have it wrapped up by then and we'll see what happens.

But even taking Sunderland out of the equation, it's a huge match at the top of the table which could go a long way in determining the automatic and playoff positions.

Thru a strangulated throat and gritted teeth - come on the pikey pussycats

Two reasons -

1) I miss what remains our biggest game

2) we are after some of Fulham’s players so them going up won’t help!!
