Millwall at Wembley

The FA and The Met and probably others have tried and failed to tame Millwall and some of their more unsavoury support. Just take a look at some of the footage available on YouTube. It would appear the police main tactic is to limit or divert carnage as they cannot cope or control it. It would seem there's little co-operation. They love a ruck, they love their reputation and I dare say in their own way they love their club.

Not quite enough to travel in large numbers to the northeast, but then again, it's a long way and can be a bit parky whereas our trips to Suntraps like Brighton, Southampton, Pompey etc. are mainly for the warmth.

If your club has a reputation that all the hard lads support it, therefore you attract every madman from across london who wants to be a "hardman" then how are the FA or Police meant to stop them? They do community outreaches and projects - but if your support is not just from Millwall and instead comes from Croydon or Essex or Tottenham and supports Millwall just for a fight then how are the police supposed to find and sort that one?

Its only going to get worse as any normal neutral child will want to support Palace or West Ham over League One Millwall - leaving them will just the mad lot.

As I said, the only way to sort there problem would be if they got some money behind them, got into the PL and gentrified with tourists/glory supporters/family's who might of supported another London team. Prices would go up, "atmosphere" would be sanitised and demand for tickets would increase so those on banning orders would not be able to pay on the day etc... that's not going to happen hough is it

2 Barnsley fans stabbed is the rumour, could be all fart and no shite but I wouldn't be surprised if it is true the scummy bastards.

Well it was disgusting.
If you notice my post is having a go at all hooligans, not just ours. What a totally ridiculous pastime.
Thankfully it seems to be gradually dying out but still find the odd balding, right said Fred lookalike with a shit Celtic band tattoo who still long for the good old days!
you completely ignored one about Sunderland supporters getting bricked
Celtic band :lol: Not as clever as you think you are. Or your little snitch isn't. You get more attention on here than that gay website you go on and that is why you do it
I'll quite happily show you that I'm no hooligan but you don't go to games, so would find it difficult.
BTW isn't a Right Said Fred lookalike, completely bald and not balding? You seem a bit confused.

Just seen a video of it flaring up a bit on Wembley Way, good to see the Barnsley fans appeared to be giving as good as they got.

Well put. There is no condoning violence on any level but I just get a bit annoyed by every Millwall supporter being tarnished by the same brush. Any bit of disorder is reported by every paper which fuels their reputation yet incidents with other teams are rarely covered as it doesn't go with the image the press love to encourage for Millwall because it gets more readers.

What happened today was pretty shit but is only a dozen or so idiots that chose the big occasion to get their mugs in the rag.

I didn't ignore it I just didn't see it, a total disgrace as well.
I'm not sure what the rest of your post means as I was merely speaking generally.
Stop obsessing over me and discuss the the thread rather than the personal jibes. Have a little respect for the OP.

The personal jibe thing didn't apply in your post? A bit of a hypocrite to add to the list then
You know exactly what it means but you got it wrong didn't you? You feel a bit of a cock, like you usually do at weekends when you score on fastflirt

I made no personal jibe towards you at all unless you fit into my little generic football hoolie face fit!
Just relax and discuss the thread rather than derailing it man.

you mean the thread you and your mate had already derailed since it was a thread about Millwall not Sunderland

Back in 1993 there was some of the worst scenes i've seen at a football match. It was our first match at home, back in the Championship as-is, as-was after winning the third division title. Millwall at home. For those that can remember the old Victoria ground, away fans used to be in the Stoke end terrace below some seating which was (stupidly) the family stand. Away to the left of that was the Butler Street stand where the corner was the away fans seating - seperated by a very small wall constructed out of nothing but ply sheeting and a bit of 4 by 2.

Anyway, to cut a long story short there was some confusion as to why the terrace was virtually empty yet the away seating was full to bursting. Literally minutes later it became apparent as all hell broke loose. I was sat on the front row of the seats watching it all unfold as a wee lad. The sight of a few handful of Millwall fans left in the terrace, trying to scale fences to get at the seating is something that will live with me for a long time.

The Butler street stand was notorious in those days for being full of the flask and blanket brigade, so fair play to the Stoke lads that were in that stand as if they weren't, I dread to think what would have happened.

It was a thread about hooliganism involving millwall, it progressed into hooliganism involving other clubs which it can do, topic remains the same.
Anyway can't be chewed to argue with you all night as ya dull as fuck. It's bank holiday and I'm off out for drinks in jesmond. You have fun.

A tinpot club who's only claim to fame is the reputation of their fans rather than what they've won.
When did they ever come up here and cause mayhem?
I'm struggling.
About 50 or so turned up in the Roker End in 77 and were surrounded the whole game, they stood their ground.
I was going to go down there for the return fixture aged 15 then THAT documentary was shown on telly and me fatha said 'No way'.

Aww diddums stay, go on. Just for once stand up for your rights, don't run away too soon

If I'm wrong I apologise but I am guessing that is absolute horse shit. Some bloke on Twitter trying to spread a rumour about Millwall fans tipping a disabled man out of his wheelchair then kicking him down the steps.
