"Migrating" at half time

this is the safety advisory group kicking up a fuss over nothing (again) and it's something they're clamping down on. It's pathetic but they're clearly finding it difficult to find issues with so few people attending so they've reverted to type and went for the bairns as they always do when they've got nowt else to whinge about.
I would agree with you if you sat right at the front of the North stand but there plenty of seats to sit in behind it's empty..

that would be classed as migrating and therefore illegal.

Back in the 80,s, we used to travel up to Scotland a fair bit on a coach, maybe 50 or so lads, and we’d pick a game where the team bottom of Scottish second were playing away from home. We were usually doubling the teams support and it was a good laugh most of the time. What always stuck in my mind was fans all changing ends at half time, really brought home what a piss pot league it was in terms of support and infrastructure. Shows how far we’ve fallen that this is now actually happening at our club. We need to overcome this apathy that’s keeping fans away and get out of this piss pot league pronto, before this becomes normal.

I was going to pay to move our seats cos the bairn complains he can't see half the time, but then I realised I'm aleady in and there's half the ground to choose from.

Oh we do. Six of us have sat together there for years and I'm not moving for some southstander.
Bloody Southstander, coming over here taking our jobs and our women.
TBF I'd tell them to fuck off as well.
There was a steward in the West Stand that had a right go at two young lads who were moving seats for the second half and even demanded to see their season cards. Absolutely pathetic from the steward involved like.
They'll have been told what to do, nee point kicking off with them.

Eh we used to this as teenagers. First half in our season ticket seats, second half behind the goal. We'd pick out seats that were empty and move there. Fuck knows why in hindsight because the view behind the goal is pretty crap.

The club have a policy on migrating but not on the borrowing of ST numbers or selling on of away tickets to artificially inflate away ticket entitlement? I think the club wants to start looking after its genuine fans first before worrying about a bunch of young idiots who want to travel and meet people ffs.

Along with how many would be in your ground after years of shit and stuck in league 1.

You lot cant even bare mid table in prem ya set of blurts
Giving away 10,000 free season cards in the PL, can only imagine how much the attendances would collapse if they had an extended time out of the top flight, never mind in league one. They've got a cheek ever mentioning attendances again after that tbh, what is it they say about us and season cards in happy meals, they didn't even have to buy a McDonald's to get one

Well now we're on about attendances your last season in premier and championship.......quoted attendances were laughable never mind slightly out they were wildly out

And you don't think the same was true of all the 52000 attendances Newcastle had at the end of the Ashley reign, even allowing for 10,000 freebies? Happens with every club, they count season card holders whether they're there or not. If a lot stop going, or start choosing their matches, the stated attendance is higher than it is in reality. They won't have just been making it up, especially given they'd have to pay more tax for higher crowds

when we had crowds of 45k there was 45k in ground and you saw a few gaps behind goals up in corners etc.....at your place the ground was clearly half full yet attendance given in the mid to high thirties

Cause we include all season card holders wether in attendance or not
