Take your blinkers off man, Mig has the makings of a very good keeper.
 
He's a very good shot stopper which is what the stats are based on. However, his positioning, judgement and distribution all need work but, as someone who's aged 24, he has plenty of time to improve those aspects of his game.

To his credit, he had very few games last season in which his performance cost us points but the true test of great keepers is that they win you games and not just save them.

These stats show that Mignolet is a very good shot stopper, which is great.

I don't think it's unfair to say that this is one of Mignolet's strengths, but that he still has some work to do on other aspects of his game. Fortunately, most of the stuff he can work on is technical and experience based, so, hopefully, he'll continue to develop and become a really good 'keeper.
