Bollocks. If Gordon had been in goal and those 2 had gone in you would have had an aneurysm by now. It's a shame he wasn't in hindsight.

You can't compare clean sheet records. Were the defences the same? Were the opposition the same? Were the situations the same? Was Bruce in charge or O'Neill? Have you got nothing else?

Mignolet kept clean sheets when he had third and fourth choice defenders in front of him.

Or Keane, or Sbragia. Both of whom lost the plot during their time here.

Mignolet kept a clean sheet against Bolton this season.

Gordon conceded 2 against Bolton this season.

Lucky Mignolet.

When has Gordon ever played behind a defence as good as O'Shea, Brown, Turner, Richardson etc for a consistent period of time? Oh that's right, he hasn't.

I'm a big fan of Mignolet but he's nowhere near the standard of Gordon in most areas of his game. How you can't see this is beyond me, to be honest.
100% this.

This Gordon bashing has gone on since the minute he signed and didn't instantly save every shot fired at him. Although I did notice it went extremely quite part the way through last season when Gordon was absolutely flying and pulling off some superb saves, such as the one against Bolton. Now he comes back in for one game and it all starts up again! He wasn't at fault for the first goal last week and only one person was at fault for the second and that was Kilgallon!

Good f***ing lord :eek::oops:

You are going by cleansheets which is a poor arguement look at Brad Friedel at Spurs a very good keeper playing in a far better team than us but has he kept more cleansheets as "The Mig" this season ? Probablys not wow Migs must be one of the best keepers in the league

Who was in defence against Bolton? Did we have something to play for in the first game? Is Bolton's home record worse than their away record (yes by the way)?

You amuse me. I love laughing at thick people. :oops:

Take Masterplan with a pinch of salt, he was crying when Noble wasn't given a game before Christmas. The fact that he was nowhere near gold enough and will never be good enough didn't matter.

Turner and Brown
Yes

Always an excuse for Gordon isn't there?

Bolton were getting humped 4/5-0's by most teams at the Reebok at the start of the season however we won there because Mignolet was in goal he's that good :lol:
