*~*~* Middlesbrough v Sunderland match thread *~*~*

Honestly no idea how Burstow keeps his place, even scoring the last game, it was a knock in from 2ft and otherwise he did nothing all game.

Rusyn scored 2 in the U21 match with another rules offside, he’s scored for the first team also, he grafts and runs the opposition cbs ragged on attack. And above all he’s actually our player. How the hell is Burstow getting in ahead of him?!
Burstow is a waste of a shirt

I get the impression Ba will never ever win over some fans regardless. Played very well first half , and because of one bad miss, he's shite. And yet we have Burstow on the pitch and because of that we're pr was practically playing with 10 men
Definitely not shit just frustrating at times. Burstow is very poor though, can't find anything positive to say about him other than at least we didn't sign him

We have played quite well. Away from home against a decent side at this level and we should be winning. Controlled it for most parts. That performance under a different manager and the views expressed by many would be different

Ba probably wasn’t sure if he had time to wind his foot back for a harder shot and instead just tried to direct it in. 9 times out of 10 a directed shot still goes in but the defender got a bit fortunate. Not great but people going way over the top here, saying he missed an open goal etc.
