Sounds like a VBA problem. You are going to have to learn VBA or pay £1,590 for an add on.

You don’t need excel for this.

Go to a shop and buy something for £540. At the till ask the person at the till that you would like to pay an extra 20%.

Check your receipt and it will have the answer on paper.

You’re not being clear here. Do you want to add 20% to £540 or is £540 the total and you want to know the net figure before 20% tax is added?

There can only be one final figure. It’s an English Language expert you need.

Seriously like. Google will give you this answer very quickly. This is hardly edge case stuff you need expert help on.

Not being unkind here but for someone who is touting himself as a web developer to not even be able use Google wouldn't fill anyone with confidence in your abilities.
