he's embarrassing himself

thought he might have piped down after yesterday's shambles but no he's at it again

absolute shit stirer and bitter as fuck. not what you'd expect from a so called Sunderland fan

hope the Donald bans him from the SoL

He has said on twitter, whatever the ex-player is saying is "completely and utterly wrong."

That's what i thought. He kept banging on about the books not being looked at and the debt not being considered as if he wasn't aware that Ellis had wiped the fucker out (the debt not Micky Gray)
Not the debt, the running costs, £40 million parachute payment, the wage bill plus having to pay for Alarez plus one other?
The worrying thing was 2 of the 3 'bidders' didn't get to speak to Short, no due diligence has been performed and the 'mystery consortium'.
The deal is far from done.

Yes. It means for the foreseeable future the club can work debt free. Any conditions for repayment of amounts contingent on is getting promoted to the PL are between the new owners and Short, and however they choose to finance them, they aren't as constraining as the existing debt would have been in League One and/or the championship should we get there.
how do you know that? without knowing who the consortium are, how much money they have put in and how much they have paid it could be anything.
Short could have paid off the debt and sold the club for £1
Short could have paid off the debt and sold the club for X, an amount the new owners could afford to fund without loans.
Short could have payed off the debt and sold the club for X and amount the new owners could not afford and they have had to loan a large sum from a bank and have substantial debts.

According to Donald EFL approval is the only thing outstanding....the deal has been done.If one of the interested parties got to Short and did a deal before the others ,then that's tough titty for the others. I can't believe anyone would agree a takeover without due diligence, and, indeed,we had it from some who seemed to have some info that due diligence was being carried out over the last few weeks, work that would be much easier as Short has cleared the debt. I don't know what Micky Gray's motives are here, but it seems he's been left at the starting gate.

Or...Short could have paid off the debt and written off any amounts owing to him,but the sale proceeds of his shares could be payable to him upon the club's return to the Premier League. When...and if...that happens,it will be down to the new owners to decide how they want to pay him....from their own pockets, profits or loans...or a combination of all three.

Yes that also could be the case.
My point being that nobody really knows so it's to early to get excited that the club will be debt free under the new owners as the structure of the deal is not yet public knowledge.
