As much as I like Mickey he's had a bit of a mare on the radio today I think. Can't blame the lad for being a bit apprehensive as a fan though, because he is still one of us remember. I'm sure he'd happily be proven wrong if it's for the benefit of the club.
Chris. Go back to your Dylan avatar. Shorts gone, Colemans gone, and Mick isn't here but Bob lives on.

The Glazers secured it against assets they already owned in MUFC. They owned 30% of United at that time, and secured their loans against that. (Around £250-270m) The football club were never liable for that specific debt that was used to finance PART of the acquisition. The Glazers were.

There is a huge world of difference between being able to buy a club that you already own part of, partly by securing a loan against the part that you own, and trying to take a loan out against something you don't own anything of, in order to buy it. I wish I'd not mentioned the fit and proper thing because it has just muddied that statement.

I don't think that was the case, i'm sure the stake he bought with his own money was under 4%. His take over which took him up to 75% stake was entirely leveraged, the rest was acquired through the use of PIK loans. If you ask a ManU fan they will tell you he didn't put up a dime of his own money although like I say I don't think that's quite true.

What’s Mucky been saying like? I’m very confused on the subject. Didn’t we all love him on Sunday and now he’s public enemy number one? Has been slagging off the clerb like?

It's just that he is calling into question that the money is not there, in this Donald consortium,. The club is under investigation by FIFA over two transfer deals and he was part of a consortium that didn't get a reply from short.

Plus he works for talkshit and has been plugging them and his own Twitter as being the true place for truth about safc

Cheers SC. So basically it’s sour grapes that he didn’t get to know about the consortium that’s come in.

Did Mickey really think that Short would contemplate selling SAFC to any consortium that he was involved with?
If so he's deluded.
No chance after he slagged Short off a couple of years ago.
