5/4 nowLee Cattermole is now the 7/2 second favourite for the Boro vacancy with Sky Bet.
Bookies odds often don't mean a great deal for Next Manager markets but still feels like a random one to me. Never really thought of Cattermole as one that'd go into management.
I thought he was chops. If Cattermole is being considered shouldn't he be in temporary charge
Well you would be wrongI thought he was chops.
Ok I stand corrected.Well you would be wrong
Carrick is not desperate so will wait for the right opportunity
Boro are looking for someone to coach the players and not a manager who wants to be involved in signings
Just think he wants a manager's job old school manager with full control so might wait for that opportunityWill he get offered a better job though? Eventually, he will have to take a chance and boro seemed a decent fit
Aye but they also wanted him to play centre mid for the rest of the season. Will he get offered a better job though? Eventually, he will have to take a chance and boro seemed a decent fit

Wouldn't surprise me. Initially when Neil left, Mowbray appealed to me as someone who I would expect to stabilise us in the league. It was definitely possible that we could collapse after an uplanned upheaval like that. That he plays attacking football, generally plays a team shape that best fits our squad and is good at bringing through young players just made him make more sense. I still reckon that he's unlikely to take us up, though. He's an upper level champ manager IMO (as is Neil to be honest). Perhaps once we're stable, have developed the talent levels in the squad sufficiently and have built up a bit of a war chest (probably via one or two big sales) I could see us going with a bright young coach of some type (hopefully in a more ordered fashion). It wasn't the right time this season, though, I don't think.I think someone like carrick will take over here once Mowbray has done his job
Wouldn't surprise me if we promote Murty. I reckon that's why he been brought in personally.Wouldn't surprise me. Just saying that's what i think the reasoning is behind his appointment Speakman said we want a coach who fits into our bullet points of what formation we want to play and how to play. I think we'll promote from within.Aye but he wasnt very good at it
