Are people going to put windows out and wee on the floor as well

metro carries more than your bog standard 2 carriage train - dunno why they dont just put the football special back on and scrub all this bus nonsense - have 2 or 3 special trains running between sland and ncle central, job done. easy to contain, makes sense, then just march everyone up from central together

I get a metro through there every day that has way more than that I reckon.

I thought that too, use it all the time and was confused as to why they don't put 3 carriages on matchdays and rush hour and they said only a few stations could accomodate 3 carriages, central not amongst them. Haymarket, south hylton and sunderland were ones I remembered. By 2 carriages I mean two trains coupled together, what they run as normal service.

As clear as mud that

Is the platform longer during the week then ???

eh?

What I'm trying to say is they wont add any extra carriages to the ones you see on a day to day basis as the platforms are not long enough for any more. They look like they are long are enough but in reality fall short.
So the metro will be this long

as opposed to them adding another one (making 3) on the back for extra capacity. So it's gonna be a tight squeeze for people using it.
