Sounds to me like people jumping on the 10.13 metro will be there before the buses.

Why are people getting that one -cos the coppers say to get that one.

Strange.

Whats your point, quicker than spending 90 mins on a bus which I think is the main reason why people get it:confused:

his point is that youre gonna be in the ground an hour before kick off ?

still much better than gettin the bus mind

I take it they'll sell drink though, so an hour of drinking and singing on the concourse, as opposed to getting the bus which involves getting to the stadium, waiting ages, the journey taking ages and probably not having time for a pint

sayin that , they may keep everyone at central station for 15mins before walking up - halfhour metro - so wouldnt get to ground til about 1115 - not too bad suppose

My point is there's plenty of metros yet people have this fixation on the 10.13metro. It'll be in Newcastle by 10.40. They'll have you straight out the station up to the ground as usual and in the ground in 15 minutes max.

You'll be in the ground for 11 or just after if you get that metro.

I can't understand why people aren't getting the 10.47. Half an hours extra drinking time and in Newcastle for 11.20. Sounds about right to me.

That one is stopping though isn't it? The 10.13 is straight through so the police can manage it. I can imagine it being a coach each on the later one, one mags one us.

Edit: that makes me sound soft as shite. which is probably accurate.

Because people will be absolutely clamming for a piss on the metro and all the way up to the ground, meaning the sooner in the ground, the same drinking time and less time feeling uncomfortable holding your piss in.

Which Metro station is it stopping at? Central or St James'??

Central.

Absolutely no chance we'll be in the ground that early. I'd be surprised if the metro has departed by 10.13, I'd guess it won't be away until about 10.20. Half an hour to get there. Ten minutes to unload the metro and round every body up. It takes a good twenty minutes to march us to the ground. Then depending on where you are in the escort, you've got quite a queue at the turnstiles. Then there's the walk up the f***ing stairs!! I'd guess some won't be in their seats until 11.30
