Any business reliant on the attendance of members of the public should be supported if it is viable under normal trading conditions. The sums involved look enormous, but in terms of GDP they really aren't. UK GDP in 2019 was £2.21tn. To bail out the whole of the EFL would require around £200m at most. that's roughly 0.009% of GDP. The NHS spends around £350m per day. So far as funding is concerned, borrowing has never been cheaper. Governments can borrow at pretty much zero interest rates. A rise in certain taxes (notably corporation tax) wouldn't go amiss either.
Is that where the 350million figure came from during the leave campaign ? They’ve admitted it wasn’t true about the EU but is this where the figure came from ?

"Theyve done this to their last five owners"
'They'. Like we're the enemy. Because he thinks he is superior. Boils my piss.
To balance it he has been more rational than Donald much of the time and i do trust his judgement more plus he has supported a few local charities without attention seeking. He's not all bad but has definitely been very arrogant and disdainful. Plus i personally don't like the political party he campaigns for and his particular wing of it.

No. They simply divided the gross amount paid to the EU by 52 (conveniently ignoring the substantial rebate the UK gets). It's pure coincidence that that was the same number as the current NHS daily spend. In the year of the referendum, NHS daily spend was lower.

it was said either take the stream or a refund. If you took the stream then you won’t be entitled to any kind of refund
Wait and see fella......I paid with a credit card and no same person would see that as a fair deal and like for like..as I said I will be contacting the club for their position and go from there.

...We as a club could lose up to £7million this season if games played with no fans..but says we are not one of the clubs in danger of 'going under'. Charlie is becoming a lot more vocal recently isn't he! Wonder why?
No, what he means is they could lose money not the club.
Is the reason that he doesn’t want the club to lose £7m?
No it’s because he’s scared to lose money. He doesn’t give a monkeys about our beloved club.
Well things have changed and every club's situation is becoming more desperate by the day. I don't see much that he's said wrong recently regarding the state of football going forward
Do you believe in fairies

If that is true then we are in a great position. 23 games @ say £15 profit x 25000 supporters = £8.625m

Being prudent on profit per punter and number of punters. beer sales, corporate etc.

So we could finally be self sufficient. That is a great investment for someone.

Obviously my numbers could be very wrong

Did we ever receive our protion of rebate from the 4.5 Billion Euros the EU gave to Turkey to build the new bridge across the Bosphorus and North Marama Highway ?
