If he lowered his wages more teams would have been interested,
Would you do same? He's actually on less money with PSG. He was willING to take a 50% to stay at Barcelona. He is reported to be getting the same deal at PSG. What should he drop it to? 60%, 70% or 80%?

Just answering somebody who said only PSG were interested in him. Of course if you say you want 1m a week the number of teams who are interested will dwindle.

Hes in the top two players in the world currently, who you could make a good argument to say are the best two players that have ever lived. They will be paid accordingly, Ronaldo always has been too.

PSG - “Lionel, we consider you as one of the worlds greatest ever players, and acknowledge you are on a free transfer. We’d like to offer you around €600k per week to reflect your ability and the lack of transfer fee”

Messi - “Love to lads, really would. But some of the lads of the SMB reckon that’s greedy so I’m off to sign for Guingamp instead”

Living in Paris, earning a fortune, probably only playing half the league games against the farmers but every Champions League one. Topper deal like.

But I'm not, if Messi is such a greedy bastard for being Barcelonas best ever player and one of the two best players on the planet at the minute and being paid accordingly, what is Gareth Bale for collecting £600k a week but seemingly having no desire to play?

You dislike Messi so are using any old irrational shite as a stick to beat him with.
Gareth Bale is a greedy bugger
Absolutely no point in debating with someone that is clearly absolutely mental.
Someone who has a differing opinion to you isn’t mental.

Correct.

Messi has always played and like Ronaldo, has been paid accordingly for being one of the best two players alive over the past 15 years. They've never sat on a bumper contract to run it down, or refused to accept a transfer elsewhere. So what is the logic in saying its greed when he's quite clearly justified his wage being at the very top of the sport for as long?

France won the World Cup in 2018.
France won the World Cup in 2018. Nine of the their players were playing in Ligue 1. The majority of them played in Ligue 1 at some stage. They had players from PSG, Monaco, Marseille and Lyon. I think there has been 4 different winners of Ligue 1 in the last 10 years. In the last 2 seasons PSG made it to a final and a semi-final. Lyon got to a semi-final knocking out Juventus and Man City on the way.
And yet there squad for the last tournament (Forgot it was euros not World cup on last post) only 6 came from the league including their 2 reserve keepers (but i agree on that point). Where as only 4 players in Italy's squad played abroad. PSG are like the Bayern Munich of the French league, but with more funding, so they should be targeting the UCL. Historically the Italian league has been one of the strongest leagues, as shown buy the number of European trophies and finals reached over the years.

Theres a reason Ligue 1 gets 3 champions league spots and Serie A gets 4

He an do what he wants, however his demands have lowered his options.
