Mel Gibson

What a phenomenal career he has had, just rewatched Mad Max 2, phenomenonal, Mel exudes charisma. Made some mistakes in life, like anyone ever. I'm sure they'll be loads of abuse on this thread but he was f***ing class at his profession.

Saved Robert Downey Jr’s career and possibly life…few other productions were willing to hire him because of his addictions, but Gibson took a chance on him and helped him get clean.

RDJ must have net worth into the hundreds of millions now.

First couple of Lethal Weapon films were class. Thought he was brilliant in 'Signs' also.

Saw a film a couple of weeks ago with him and Vince Vaughan - Dragged Across Concrete. Enjoyed it. Very gritty.

Pity he's appearing in loads of shite lately to pad out his pension or pay off ex wives, but then again all the famous actors from the 80s and 90s appear to be doing it nowadays.

There were and are some fantastic actors/actresses out there and Mel Gibson definitely deserves a place up there with the best of them.

Apocalypto was fantastic as well, which he financed, wrote and directed. Probably my favourite action movie of all time.
apart from the little inaccuracy at the end when the spanish arrive....

Only 400 years inaccurate.

And the less said about the Patriot the better. Although We were Soldiers was very good, he shouldn't be allowed to touch historical films.
