The worst thing about celtic are all the plastic paddies who support them.
Mcgeady played all his youth career in scotland taking advantage of all the scottish facilities and then fucked off to a country that had given him nothing because he's a catholic.

Cracking player though on his day, would be delighted if we signed him.

what a load of rubbish, ireland took on mc geady at 12 years old, they looked after him and sent to training camps over in dublin,it has nothing to do with his religion,he was brought up supporting ireland and has always seen himself as irish

Unless he can fly from Russia to Ponteland before 11pm, it aint gonna happen.

This.

Though I blame his parents and his grandparents more. If you want him to be Irish so badly, then live in Ireland. If my kids are born and raised in another country, then that's what they will be. If I want them to be Scottish, I'll move them to Scotland.

He doesn't need to, the paperwork can be done by fax and he can have a medical anywhere. It happened last window, there was a player who stopped off in Europe somewhere (Germany or Italy or summat) for his medical. Also, deals are often done subject to a successful medical so as long as the paperwork is done there shouldn't be a problem.

thats up to you, glasgow has strong ties to co donegal,mc geadys family came from gweedore in west donegal, its a small town with not much work so his family moved to glasgow but still held on to there irish roots and were proud of them,he was brought up supporting ireland and ireland took him under there wing at the age of 12 sending him to football camps over in dublin.

Due to people happy to earn a living there, spend their entire lives there, raise their family there, but less happy to integrate themselves in their new country or let their children do so. If you brainwash your kid from an early age, it is hardly surprising if he goes on to do what he's been told to.

I spent every summer in my mother's home town in Spain. It doesn't make me more Spanish.

He's about as irish as deep fried haggis, most celtic fans I know were embarassed by what he did.
Scottish football gave him a lot more than a couple of training camps ffs. I also always thought its only irish grandparents and his dad was scottish anyway.

One of the three players having medicals today.

No intention of going to Wigan at all.

FACT
Like your other threads this one was clearly for the purpose of feeding your need to get attention
