Mcgeady

Manager after manager has tried to get the best out of him consistently and failed. Coleman will be no different.
Done ok for O’Neil at Celtic and think he did ok at Spartak . Grayson got something out of him last season at Preston as well so its not impossible. As manager it’s up to Coleman to get the best out of and improve players. So far he’s done neither with McGeady.

His best spell at Celtic came under Strachan. He only had one season under O'neill
He's been inconsistent throughout his career. He's a very frustrating player.

Maybe Grayson was the reason McGeady came here and he's lost interest now Larry has gone.

He did ok at Celtic in general though. Like most wingers he’s going to be inconsistent but at least under Grayson the good outweighed the bad. Hasn’t been the case under Coleman.

Possibly but it’s still down to Coleman to manage that situation.

Fans were split over him tbh. He'll have a good spell under Coleman then have a period of being shit. It's happened throughout his career, it's just the way he is. It's no managers fault.

Well this poor spell under Coleman seems to be dragging on. He needs to address it as he’s our only creative spark. We are going backwards in general at the minute so it’s not just exclusive to McGeady.

Yes but if he's in Grayson's camp that's easier said than done.

He's been injured as well. Also let's not forget he played well at Forest and got the winning goal that day. Under Coleman.

He got the winning goal but I wouldn’t say he played well in fact we were crap that day and scrambled a win with our only shot of the game.

Up to a manager to get best out of what he has and he’s not getting best out of McGeady. As you say he’s pretty much our only creative option. We look utterly toothless going forward at the minute.

No manager ever has got “the best” out of Aiden McGeady. That’s why he spent his career fannying around at Celtic and the Russian League before failing at Everton.

He’s not a consistent performer. He never has been. He never will be. But he’s better than the rest of our shower of shite so he needs to play.

You don't say. Seems to me Coleman is faced by quite a few awkward stubborn buggers and McGeady is one of them.
He isn’t blessed with a great squad it has to be said but it’s his job to get the best out of them and at the minute it’s not happening. I’m not sure anyone could do a great deal with this lot mind.

why? he's now just another of a whole bunch of players who are just here to pick up a paycheque and play as little as possible and now his marra has been sacked he' not even a luxury player, just another name on it off the team sheet.

He is managing it by not plying him in my opinion.

The general consensus is he was our best player that day. You seem to have a bit of a problem with Coleman. What is it?
Was it? I see to remember most said honeyman. No problem with Coleman I’m just pointing out that McGeady has went backwards since he came in and that we are currently going backwards. Not really sure either points can be disputed really.

Well he’s injured at the minute and I wouldn’t say we’ve improved by not having him in the team.

So what your saying is that he is getting the best our of them, they're just shit?

I feel a bit sorry for Grayson mind who must have thought all of his horses had come in at once when he was offered the job; before he realised what the job entailed and t became to much for him. I've the impression that Coleman might be a bit stronger though sowno may hopefully our last the useless tossers he inherited as players.
