He has a history of falling out with club management. It happened at Celtic and Spartak Moscow.

It was reported he fell out with Strachan at Celtic. The following weekend he played and scored in a cup final. Some fall out that.

I had someone tell me a few month ago he fell out with Moyes at Everton. I mean he's never been at Everton why Moyes eas but who cares.

I suspect he’s a bit of a perfectionist. These people are difficult to manage. He also admitted he’s stubborn so those things in tandem make it worse.

Not if you listen to the podcast I posted a while ago. In it openly talks about going out on drinking regularly on extended benders whilst playing. Not exactly a model professional. Obviously he does have talent as a player and I'm not blaming him completely above Parkinson for not being the team but he has history of issues with previous managers at other clubs.

He speaks well but as you say the fact an official podcast gave him a platform to say PP simply wasnt up to it is astonishing.

Listening now he knew Parkinson would be gone before him and knew after 10 days he was the wrong man for the job....
It took him 10 days?
He would make a class manager I think. Seems a really clever chap.
Bullying or feedback to improve. No doubt he rubs people up the wrong way but I similarities between him and Keano in that he literally will do what he can to win. I think he literally gives his absolute all for playing for us. Remeber him playing with a broken foot for half a year.

He also gave Grigg the chance to take a penalty to get off the mark. Another sign hes a team player

It's a fact that he had a falling out with Strachan at Celtic. McGeady himself has spoken about it: Celtic winger Aiden McGeady breaks silence over row with Gordon Strachan

Aye and Strachan has said he's had arguments with him but also said he would never drop him.

This is Strachans take on it

"We got on each other’s nerves at times – that happens.

“Do I think he’s a good football player? Very much so. Do I think he’s a great trainer? Very much so. Good professional? Very much so.

“If you think about it, I’ve had arguments with most of them in that dressing room.

“I’ve got great respect for him in many things but at times we got on each other’s nerves."

Doesn't sound like the deep ingrained attitude problem people have been desperate to make out since Parkinson needed a scapegoat which was all a load of bollocks.

And of course Strachan is one of the most argumentative blokes on the planet. He used to argue with reporters almost every week in the prem even if they praised him after a game.

But the point of my original post was to say that McGeady himself has a history of being argumentative and falling out with people so you can't take what he said on the Podcast as being 100% the truth.

That doesn't excuse the way Parkinson handled him or anything he did while he was here.

It doesn't have to be one or the other. For me, it will have been both to blame.
