McGeady on disagreement with Parkinson

It looks so far with the posts, the everyone is pretty with Parkinson on this one

mcgeady has talent no doubt but I agree that his giving away of possession caused safc a lot of problems.

I often wonder why we put negative players with the under 23s though rather than say train on your own and you‘re expected to come in for fitness tests to prove you are. It just seems barmy that clubs (they all do it) would put this type of player amongst such a young, easily influenced group of talent.
I don’t think it is to send a message to the player, more to send a message to the impressionable young players ....”it doesn’t matter how good you are as a player, if you don’t work hard enough or are disruptive to the team, then the team comes first and you are gone”.

if McGeady was as good as everyone was saying before this incident, then why was the door not bashed down with the weight of all his suitors at other clubs come the transfer window ?.......thought he was supposed to be the best player in this league ?
he plays for a team in a higehr league now..indicating he would have gotten into most teams or all of them in this league..ergo..the best player in his positon in this league.
aye fair point, but in this league ??
he plays in a highelr league now..

I think we could all see McGeady was a problem, slowing down attacks, lacking end product, losing the ball. Parkie's bold step was to get rid altogether rather than tinker. Also Gooch returned and Maguire improved.
