I know production and ownership of best scotch has moved down south, Marstons. Does anyone know where I can buy best scotch up here in Tyne And Wear?

Compared to how tastes have changed, I’d be very surprised if it sold much at all nowadays so my guess is that market forces stopped them selling it in cans.
Wasn’t it about 3.6% or something

Mckewans Export is the ale of the gods, it was the first beer I ever got a bigger boy to buy from an offy for me, still my favourite today. It’s out there on draught in some rare places, oyster bar in Oban was serving it when I arrived there pissed off, soaked through, after a 300 mile ride in torrential rain.

Love the "Red Death" me like.

Can’t beat the old Brown Ale advert in the rocket!
