If there was one jot of proper evidence why on earth are both the Met and the PJ still investigating the case with absolutely no indication that the parents are suspects?

its two completely different cases, in this case the dogs identified the smell of death only in the McCanns apt out of 3 or 4 apartments and detected the rental car out of 10 cars.

I agree with very little @tiptoad says on here but he's right about the McCann's. There is zero evidence against them and if there was they would be in prison. It's sad that this couple made a tragic error of judgement but now have to live with every internet sleuth accusing them of a heinous crime without a trial, a jury or even any evidence. You have to admit some of the comments on these McCann threads, based on hearsay, are pathetic.

Coconut Eddie was claimed by its owner to be the world's best sniffer dog, and got "the smell of death" over a hundred times in Jersey, and was wrong 100% of the times. The same dog got the smell of death in Portugal, and once again, absolutely fuck-all was found.

You know this fine well. You know that no body was found, no DNA was found, and no trace of the bairn's blood; in fact no evidence that any criminal act took place at all was found in that apartment by Eddie or the police.

All you've got is a dog barking, and even then it had to be persuaded to do this by its handler. It's all in the Portuguese Police report, but you know this too because you've been shown it numerous times.

There is an excellent documentary on YouTube, can’t remember the name of it will check when I go to work. The stories of the families all contradict each other and even the McCanns have changed their story a few times regarding window break in to door just being left open.
