The impossible apparently. Or if you're Douglas Adams - the highly improbable.
More Arthur Conan Doyle mate.

You are again repeating your claim he was sacked, this time omitting the incompetence bit. Evidence please.......
The evidence being, the media have admitted his department leaked the inference there was irrefutable DNA evidence and then he was sacked when it was clear there wasn't.
I'll provide a couple of facts for you, as you're clearly struggling with the concept: Almeida was sacked and there was no irrefutable evidence provided by the department he headed in order to build a case worthy of a prosecution.
The McCanns were never formally charged with anything as there was no irrefutable evidence of them commiting any crime.
You've not even got his name right there.
Again, will you please withdraw your comment that Amaral (thats his name) was sacked?
It is simply untrue.
I don't have to defend anything mate, they've never been charged and never will be
So what do I have to defend?
You're just making stuff up.
So he didn't lose his job?
Yep. Not a real detective but one written to enthral the Victorian public. Nice analogy.More Arthur Conan Doyle mate.

Correct, so can you now please withdraw your dreadful comments?
Same way there is absolutely no evidence that Maddy was abducted. We just go round in circles mate.
Did you get a chance to see that video earlier in the thread with the statement analysis dude who dissects what they said in public arena? It's very informative. Use your common sense marra and tell me there's nothing suss about the parents.

In the documentary he says he lost his job, if the subtitles are to be believed. Unlike the edited translations that the DNA reports were given.Correct, so can you now please withdraw your dreadful comments?

McCann Doc coming to Netflix
Repeating Press articles will not get you out of jail on this one.
Might want to see the later episodes then.Not seen the documentary yet, but I know all the facts backwards by now anyway.
Was he sacked? Was he deemed professional/competent by the press?
Has he sued the British or indeed thr Portuguese press for publishing the above?
Tell you what, get in touch with him with my post and I'll happily take whatever comes my way.
Disclaimer: Everything I post is entirely my own and nothing whatsoever to do with RTG.
Was he sacked? ---------> NO
Has he sued -----------> NO
Not seen the documentary yet, but I know all the facts backwards by now anyway.
If he wasn't sacked them someone had best tell The Telegraph, The Guardian and The Sun as they all ran the story that he had been.
You'd think in such litigious times he'd have consulted his Lawyers in that one, had it not been the case?

Amaral has been saying it too, so he can sue himself.If he wasn't sacked them someone had best tell The Telegraph, The Guardian and The Sun as they all ran the story that he had been.
